A new drug craze in south africa; Whoonga

Sounds like a lovely time...AIDs medication, rat poison, and detergent...

I am really sold on this stuff on the whole throwing up intestines thing..

"A friend of mine died right before my eyes last year. He threw up his intestines - it was really scary I didn't want that to happen to me," he says, staring into the distance.

That's an interesting story, sort of reminds me of the whole Jenkem thing, only I sort of believe this considering the place it's happening in. I feel sorry for a lot of these people, smoking Quaaludes on a broken glass bottle and mixing AIDS drugs with detergent :(

Some othe sources say that this is just highly diluted heroin... But why the antiretroviRals is beyond me ... Perhaps they activate enzymes? Or perhaps they really truly do nothing??? And they are just added for shits and giggle? Bizarre.

Is it dangerous to mix this, "whitepipe" and jenkem?
some african who is not llama wants to know

This is old news. There are several threads in Advanced Drug Discussion from a year or two ago describing African illicit usage of the antiviral medication efavirenz. It is theorized to have dissociative effects but this is (I believe) unconfirmed. Given that it is an antiviral drug, the side-effects are probably severe.

i say that it is good you americin can smoke youre weak leaf and not get very high while i get very high ha ha ha

may not get very high but at least we don't use rat poison and detergent to get high.

It get's you high because there is meth and heroin in it, there are interviews with former dealers on one of the sites, Whoonga Free, who say the other ingredients do nothing and are only added to weigh the packs down.

Wheres the sense in using rare anti-AIDS medication to just weigh the packs down?

Who knows you'd have to ask the brilliant Africans doing it? Why would you use poison rather then baking soda or tylenol even? But in the interview which I wish I could find now and will keep trying to, a guy says he smoked them by themselves and all it did was make him dizzy - nothing major.

Yes this is old news. I was watching a documentary about South African street gangs with a friend and as initiations into the one gang they'd cut themselves with a blade and then smoke some herb and I told my friend how I'd seen news reports years ago about how people steal HIV/AIDS medications and smoke them with herb to get high.

They also apparently do this with Quaalude/Mandrax pills which are or were still produced in South Africa.

maybe it's a guv conspiracy to trick africans into taking their aids meds by mixing them with a little bit of smack
