danceable psy/goa that's not all in 4/4?

Could anybody recommend me some danceable psy/goa that isn't completely dominated by that universal 4/4 beat? I love psy and goa, and I love letting my body go to somatic intensities for long periods of time, but my body is bored having to repeat that same movement that's in all of it.

A couple of my favorite albums to dance to are the last two ISIS albums, which aren't even psy, but man I would be a very happy handbanger if the textural and melodic finesse of psytrance and goa took in those principals of unique time-schemes and tempo-switchups and transitions, those necessary things to keep my body from getting bored or distracted.

Is there music like this out there? I mean, I've found one or two pieces, like Satumnaisuus, but that shit is really cerebral, not somatic or visceral enough to dance to. Anyway, if you can help me with my predicament, please post your suggestions :)

maybe what i'm looking for is like a good breakbeat (i can get down on some breakbeat) that has the same textural and emotional values as good goa does.

this has a big 'kick' ! but is loaded with breaks... fairly down-tempo, but very , moving.
~;-) when i djd psy, 9/10's of my track selections would be dominated by breaks.
ill dig some more up, if the old school sound and/or "psy-step" type material is your thing.

what i would dance to, when i was a goa-head so to speak...
this song, pt.1 & 2 were my favorites off this album, their prior works were my thing.

Pleiadians - Seven Sisters part2

One word: Shpongle <3

I'm not talking about chill psy I'm looking for something with some rage in its engine :)

This is really cool, thanks for pointing it out. But we still need to get a *little* more intense.

ISIS, though a rock band, in their later era is the most wonderful and powerful dance music to me. It was actually what got me off of my ass in the first place. Listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SndlSKniW8Q

Now, I understand that percussive intensity is incredibly rare, but if there's ANY psy, which would without a doubt my favorite genre of music if it weren't for its rhythmic single-mindedness, that echoes a similar percussive intensity, that is what I need :)

You obviously haven't seen Shpongle live :D
While there's no rage in the engine per se, they had the crowd absolutely thumping <3
I do understand what you're after though :)

yeah a must..!

captured cellular rhythms.
total and utter cosmic stuff

ive been searching for the TIP 3D album to link you, but no can find.
it all has the same dark deep feel, lots of snare snaps and step work,
plenty of drum-circle type goings on as well; i was looking for a track off it by "The Delta"
Xenomrph can be a continuous driving mind-fuck.
;)
good stuff.

ill be back./

ps
if i could, id give some of my mixes, or rather the ones that start with psy, and end in tribal techno -- they can go mind in matter.

You saw right thru me haha. However, this will change come the night of May 11th =D

haven't gotten a chance to listen through the subsequent recommendations yet. Will do tho, and shall post my responses.

Brilliant suggestions!! I've always loved Koxbox and Artifakt. They're all 4/4 timing though, but still good :)

Excellent!! You will not be disappointed :) <3

Oh and yeah, Simon Posford seriously knows what's up with timing signatures ;)
Deranger
This is one of my ALL-TIME favourite psy songs. It never gets old. Freaky shit happens with the time signature later in the track.

I'm going to lead you, kicking and screaming, giggling and laughing in to the future. I'm going to relax you, I'm going to get you

I would also highly recommend checking out Shpongle live. Even when Simon is playing alive, he puts on a very good show.
