I heard Kava works well with relaxing qualities. I'm pretty sure I feel it, not heavily since I'm used to being a lot more sedated from opiates and benzos. BUT I like to try this stuff out.

I heard ordering the root powder is the best way to go. The kava paste I liked but I feel like a lot was going to waste and I could do more with the root powder. The only recipe I've tried was just blender + cold water + sip slow + Strain. But is this the best way to get the kavalactones ?

What are your favorite methods, or best methods?

p.s my root powder is vanuatu origin

Well if your going the powder method, you can make tea with it. seems to work well.

don't know how fresh the shit is u got, but most of the powder i've got is decent shit.

don't over do the shit though..

you could posibby extract the powder.. and make some good shit.

I enjoy the tea. Tastes like butt at first, but eventually you're mouth will get numb enough to where you can't taste it.

My method:
Cup and a half of milk in the blender.
A tbsp of soy lecithin in.
Then a half cup of the root powder in.
Blend for 4 minutes, strain the resulting liquid, and enjoy!
I like to add chocolate syrup to mask the flavor some.

i make a tea, but don't use hot water as it destroys the active compounds.

either that or go to the Vitamin Shoppe and buy the bottles with 240 pills and take like 15 or more of them

I usually put it into gelatin capsules and take a bunch.

Or I'll parachute it if I'm feeling lazy, the tea tastes kinda rank.

I've always liked kava alot, I prefer it over benzos. :)

Alcohol or milk are the best two ways other than parachuting the powder all on its own.

The average content of any supplement is way way way less than is consumed by natives.

Alcohol and fat soak kavalactones up like a sponge. Water is just a waste as this just makes you use way too much kava in the process. Tea is the least effective method of ingestion, as most of the kavalactones will be still in the root powder after the extraction.

I personally enjoy making a kava infused wine, something around 750 L 10-12 % with a cup of kava powder. Make it the same as you would a traditional kava drink. This saves kava, as you have way more kavalactones to work with.

oh yeah i forgot about kava in an alcoholic preparation, that will give a good buzz.

Naw, dont take the pills. Those contain other parts of the kava plant that do extreme damage the liver.
You wanna do pure root, nothing else.

I never bothered much with the pills because I had to take too many fo the damn things to get any noticeable effects. I guess I never tried buying powdered root and making my own pills; that may work better as I figured the OTC crap you can buy at the corner pharmacy is just really weak... having to take 15+ pills/gelcaps just to feel a weak buzz wasn't worth it.

Yeah, the root powder compared to the supplement pills makes a world of difference. I didn't know kava until I bought the fresh root powder from a reputable source.
