Opioids Liquid Morphine with no dropper?

I have a bottle of liquid morphine (20mg/1mL) but there's no dropper and I just want to take it orally. Is there anyway to measure it without the dropper?
 
This will probably get moved to Basic Drug Discussion, but, since you know the amount in there and you know that it's 20mg/1mL you should be able to measure it out that way...with another dropper or another device that can do liquid measurement.

2mL = 40mg
1mL = 20mg
0.5mL = 10mg, etc

Hmm thanks....any ideas what other device I can use for liquid measurement?
 
Get one of these bad boys with sekio's information, and you'll be good:

(It's one of those measuring cups/shot glasses that come with bottles of cough syrup.)
 
1 teaspoon = about 5ml

oops never mind me.. someone already said it.. i should read first.

So every teaspoon full is about 100mg.
(not sure if that was said)
 
5ml would be 100mg which is way too much liquid morphine. I guess I can just fill half a teaspoon but i'm just trying to be careful as possible. Thanks guys.
 
you should have one of those measuring cups(mentioned above) that come with cough medicine somewhere in your house.. everyone has one (i thought) it would be safer to use that to measure a half tsp than actually filling a teaspoon half full.
but i understand desperate times, desperate measures (pun not intended)

I probably do have one but I live with my parents which means I would have to ravage thru the medicine cabinet. Im thinking of just taking half a tsp and hoping it's not too much. Im pretty experienced with other opiates so I should be fine (hopefully). I wish I just had the damn dropper...man I just want to get high off this shit lol
 
Morphine isn't very active orally, half a tsp comes to 2.5mL, or 2.5 *20mg = 50mg morphine which may be a bit steep, depending on your prior opiate tolerances.

Have you ever used morphine before?

This source says 50mg oral morphine should be approx. equal to 25mg oxycodone, 500mg tramadol or 80-85mg hydrocodone, just for reference. Other opiate conversion tables differ, of course.

Taking a randomly-decided amount and "hoping it isnt too much" isn't a very good idea.

heres an idea.. take 1 tsp(100mg) and add to a known amount of water say using a measuring cup measure 1/2 cup water.. that would be around 100ml so now you know that 1mg/ml so by taking 1 tsp you would only be taking 5mg at a time.. much safer in my eyes.

No i've never used morphine before but i've had plenty of codeine, DHC, and vicodin. I use opiates about 4 times a week. I need to find a damn measuring cup lol. Whats a good excuse to ask my parents for one?

That sounds confusing but i think i'm getting it. Now I just need a measuring cup and this would be perfect (unless maybe you can't mix liquid morphine with water?).

Yeah you're right man...i'm just impatient and want to get high right away haha. But the fucking Oscars are on tonight and who knows when they'll go to sleep. I cant just grab one casually...they are way too nosey.

I guess i'll wait for 3 more hours and then go ravaging thru the cabinet. Hopefully it won't wake them. Anyway thanks for the info guys...alot of helpful stuff in here.
 
You can mix it with water, the solution its in right now is most likely water.

And as far as asking your parents for one, I would just pretend to have a cough and grab the cough syrup bottle/measuring cup at all once. After all, you want to make sure you're not consuming too much "Robitussin" =D

Personally I would go with H O O D's method, its easier to read the numbers those larger cooking measuring cups than those little cough syrup shotglasses.

morphine is water soluble.. it should mix with the water perfectly.. unless its some kind of morphine that won't disperse evenly through the water.
(i don't know honestly, i just know morphine is very soluble in water)
 
okay, so my parents went to sleep and I found a 1/2 teaspoon measurement tool. I filled it halfway and so far so good. This stuff hits you fast.

I'm thinking of doing abit more but so far im feeling good. Man I can't believe I have this much morphine and it only cost me xxx Hopefully, I dont get addicted.
