I know people who have shot up pure linctus two in fact - and both had to use their necks..mmmmmm nice. I get the 5mg tabs and they can be preped for IV fairly easily as Methadone is highly water soluble....but what the point? even the 50ml amps dont give you a rush - well nothing compared to H ,dikes, palf etc

Thanks man. The latest is that she cancelled on me last friday, said she'd be better off studying for the hour we were supposed to meet up - which I can understand. She facebooked me that day, asked me to call her any time that day and seemed pretty excited about the possibility to talking to me - but when I did she was very vague on the phone. Any time I talk to her she has something new to tell me about her new boyfriend - apparently he's now in amsterdam until April and he's importing kilo's of this and that...how interested can she expect me to be in her new boyfriends dodgey dealings? Is this an attempt at making me jealous? Because if its not, then she must think this kind of thing impresses me. Anyway, its all mixed signals...

In the mean time I need to get on with my own life - I'll wait until she contacts me, which she always does. I have a 600euro phone bill that has to be paid so I cant afford to be calling her whenever she asks, and I'm not paying 5quid a phone call just to be told about how cool and fucking badass her new boyfriend is. She knows this hurts me.

I was offered either two bags or else a bag and 100mls of methadone today, so I've decided to take the bag and the 100mls of meth I'm happy with that decision and its definitely a step in the right direction. Besides, if I want to score mid-week I can get lay off this guy whenever I want but I'm really fucking proud of myself that I've managed to not get a habit since the drought ended for me (made some estonian, russian and german contacts with fire and I mean fire gear too AND at pre-drought prices and sizes so its definitely over for me) so it looks like things are on the up.

Now - to start off with a part time job, get my psych appointment, start my acting classes in may (few auditions inbetween) and hopefully get either my ex back or find a nice new lady

Make prety flowers- apparently they grow outdoors in the UK. Tasmania and Seattle, both wet cold areas have cultivated and wild poppies respectively- apparently this is a very hardy plant. It is such a personal thing, & there is no right or wrong answer. My Son is 19 & luckily i didn't have a drug problem when i was expecting him. While i was pregnant i didn't even drink or smoke. But if i became pregnant now i would like to think that i wouldn't use, but who could ever really say for sure? & what about my meth? That is not good for a baby either.

It would be an awful start in life for a baby, but would termination be the only answer? That is so final. I know girls that had babies that sadly had to go through W.D's when they were born, its a terrible thing for a baby to go through, but they have grown up to be healthy happy children now, & in two cases the mothers have stopped using drugs althougher for the sake of their childrens future, these mothers have made these sacrifices to give there kids a good life, even though things may have been very rockey at the start, so now those kids have a happy life in front of them. I really admire the strength of these mothers.

But it is such a personal thing to each woman, only someone in that position can make that decision, it must be a very hard decision to make no matter what one chooses. I myself could never judge or advise someone who has such a hard choice to make, you never know it could happen to any of us at any time, there is no right or wrong answer. But i do truly admire any woman or man who turns their whole life around for the sake of their child's happiness. Its a tough choice though alright. Different things suit different people i suppose. But neither is right or wrong, its just life.........

Grizz88, instead of being such a sneer maybe you should read back over the posts to see exactly what we were talking about before you become a judge over who should die & who should live?

Not that i should bother explain myself to you, but if you had been following this thread you would know that 'meth' means 'methadone'. Methadone is what people use when they are trying to get clean from H, But if you think anyone who tries to get clean should be killed then fair enough!!

& as for a sacrifice, we were talking about if a pregnant woman should get clean from drugs or have a termination, a very sensitive subject, so maybe you should read things before you start looking down your nose at people....... just a thought!!!

Over the last couple of months we have had a few non-regular posters on this thread pop-up from time to time, usually they spout abuse and/or demonstrate their ignorance and grizz88 is no different.

How are things your end? Things are still crap over here. Its hard to believe that so many people are happy with the low grade gear that is in Dublin at the moment, i'm sure some people are getting good stuff over here, but the amount of people that have swore that they are getting good gear & then when i get some of the same it just crap at double the price!!

Its crazy, i understand that some people might be happy with the low grade H, but its so low grade that its hardly even H!! So hopefully people will keep it real & stop giving people false hope, coz every time someone sez that they are getting 'fire' then other people will think things are getting better & then they will go out & waste more of there hard earned cash, its a shame!!

I couldn't really update on my area as i haven't even been looking for any stuff as it all seems too much hassle for so little reward atm. haven't really been looking since end of November when it all kicked off. the last time i had something was about 2 weeks ago & that was only a small amount, about a tenner bag worth> .1 if that. this cost me £20 i thought to mesself wtf i can't afford these prices, i could hardly afford it before when prices were lower I wouldn't even have got that bit but my dealer keeps ringing me & delivers to the house so i don't even need to go out to find it. i haven't seen him since 2 weeks ago, so i know if he stays away from me i have a better chance to stay away from gear.

i just wash me hands of the whole situ, and hope I can stick to the meth... that means METHADONE to anyone who doesn't know...grizz88...lol

Hi Endless...... i hope your day goes well!! Be careful with that meth, or as someone on this thread called it a while ago the 'green handcuffs' which is a perfect name for it!!

You would be better off just having your smoke twice a week, but if you start taking meth on the other days you'll end up hooked to both!! As you said your self you don't need to take meth coz you don't get sick, & the meth won't take away your cravings at all.

The H around D.7 & D.9 were we live is very low grade, we are getting the very same stuff, so there is no way that you could get a habit off it, so you shouldn't need meth now coz you never needed it before, but as you know yourself, be careful when the real H come back coz that stuff will give you a habit!!

Meth is a nightmare don't use it unless you really need it, there is no buzz off it & it won't stop cravings in any way, people only ever start using meth as a last resort, when their H habit is totally out of control & they can no longer function without H. But its not something to take lightly, i haven't had proper H in 4 months, & yet if i don't take my 60mls of meth every day i will end up really really sick, its a total tie down & its a nightmare, as you said yourself last week there is no point in you using meth unless you have a habit.

So look after yourself Endless...... i hope you had a lovely day with your family & i hope things work out ok for you & your ex. Your a lovely bloke & things will work out well for you, just don't get tied down by the meth!!

Good for you Basket!!! Its great to see that you are still being strong!!! I feel the same myself, but i get weak about once a week & i end up scoring. When i do score i end up wasting anything from €80 to €100 on low grade gear coz its between €40 & €50 a bag over here & both my boyfriend & i use, its such a waste of cash coz there is no buzz at all off the gear.

It is so sad to hear of people dieing from H, you would wonder if they are getting stuck with dodgy bash? Its really awful!!!

Not all scum

Just wanted to say that the best thing I have discovered since joining Bluelight is that there are other heroin addicts out there who aren't scum like a lot of people think we are. To be honest there are a lot of addicts I think of as scum,they would rip off their own mother. I have never ripped anyone off in about 10 years no matter how desperate I have been at the time. So it's great to know there are like minded folk out there.

Hey ructions, sound advice about the old 'liquid handcuffs'..., however, not to be argumentative, but just wanted to point out for those who may not know, that you cannot be addicted to both heroin AND methadone; the addiction is only to opiates, fortunately you cant have a dual habit, tho many believe u can. Ie were u to stop using methadone, whilst continuing to use gear, u wouldnt cluck for the meth. So long as u were using at least an equivalent amount of heroin, that is. Soz not meaning to be a 'know it all' lol I know u wont b offended.

I posted this article in the other forum bout the sad sad decline of drugs in the UK. Makes quite depressive reading but is interesting. Peace all
