So i recently discovered that i am AMAZED with lightshows, and would like to learn how to give em, but i have NO idea where to start and would like help from anyone whos experienced with em. heres my questions-

- should i buy a crappy pair of gloves to start with? or not even use legit gloves til im ready to do them publicly?

- do i just go with the music? or make up random moves on my own?

fyi im not one of those people whos 'doing it to be cool':p im really into this and i plan on putting alot of time into it:\

definitely recommend getting some dotz to start they're relatively cheap and if you end up not liking gloving (which i doubt you seem pretty enthusiastic) you won't be in the hole 50-60 bucks. watch peoples light shows (youtube), also start practicing NOW no lights. then when you get your lights you'll be one step ahead and wont have that awkward i suck at this what did i spend my money on phase.

Burying my inovas bro. They are the worst light on earth now that ive skinned em. Legs break, chips kick out, i cant afford to keep replacing bulbs @ 3$ a pop ya know. They always malfunctioning now turning off needing to be reassambled at events. Im breaking out the MMS now. Id rather just push the button wen they turn off vs reassemble the whole light...

so i'm broke but i like to dream, can we get a light discussion going? as in what kind of lights you guys prefer. once i get a job i plan on getting a new set but i have no idea where to start. i'm planning on photon freedoms for palms/thumbs because everyone talks about how bright they are. what are the most practical lights, like brightest/smallest.

I surf thru ledkid.com everyday for a bit to satisfy my dreams. I dream and dream and dream lol
 
I currently have Novas that are in OrbitSkinz. I have them for my finger lights
The better choice would have been to go with MicroMaxes (MMs). MMs are a bit more sturdy than Skinz..
I originally got Novas for their reputation for being next to indestructible.
For my thumbs I have Photon Freedoms. Super bright. Easy on/off. And......It's the color I wanted.

I just ordered some MMs from Chris. Ahhh I can't wait for them to get here.
I'm gonna stick the white/gold 2c strobes in the middle fingers and go with the pur/pi in the index, ring and pinky. Then of course the yellow photons in the thumbs.
The set is quite sexy imo.
