Promethazine and meth

sorry mods not sure if i'm in the right section, cound't figure it out.

ive been searching for a wile on some info on there interactions but can't find any... i plann for some pure pure codiene phos tablets, the Promethazine, dxm, oxzazepam, weed and meth for tonights combo, and i know it all goes well but dont know if it will kill the meth all together.. 1 point iv, one point smoked in halves different times. any thoughts, comments, crittisim, advice greatlt welcomed.

For starters, DXM and methamphetamine is dangerous as, if I recall correctly, DXM exhibits an MAOI and SSRI effect. Likewise, combining DXM with codeine, promethazine and oxazepam is a pretty heavy cumulative CNS depressant cocktail, and then mixing that with a strong stimulant could get pretty funky.

Promethazine itself is often found in stronger prescription cough supressants in combination with DXM and codeine, so that shouldn't be too big a deal, but I would bear the other points in mind. Big handfuls of pharmaceuticals are not always a very good idea. I wouldn't be taking all that, personally.

thanks for the tip, i've never read that dxm is a MAOI/SSRI affect. in my realtivly small understanding off MAOI's wouldn;t that be a dangerous combo with SSri in itself anyway, or are the differences not large enough.

was curious when i read somewhere that dxm is related somehowe to opiates, or acts on similar receptors or something, and i always enjoy the way Promethazine helps me to nod when nothing better around. thought the rush off meth might be really nice when nodding well

DXM "is the dextrorotatory enantiomer of the methyl ether of Levorphanol", an Opioid, and is also the steroisomer flip of Levomethorphan, also an Opioid, but those are the only similarity it shares with Opioids.

strange choice of mixing uppers (meth) with downers (codeine, benzos etc...)i would take the uppers, n keep the downers for the come-down

I have always wanted to try prometh for (meth)amphetamine come downs and now I have. To anyone reading this: read through the list of side effects prometh can cause. You will experience many of these quite intensly. Warning, don't do it.

Yeah, amphetamines and promethazine is contraindicated. Promethazine is a very weak dopamine antagonist, but I am sure would be unpleasant to use on top of an amphetamine.

I'll move this to the archive so that others can heed your warning.
