hi and sorry - oxy question

hi to everyone, 'n sorry for this being my first post but, um yeah.

anyway i was wondering if anyone could give me some help/advice. i am a 30 yo from the tristate area and have been iving oxy for about 6 months. i have a good job, come from a good, very loving family and have a stabilish relationship. as i said i have been iving oxy and just recently learned that you can devolp a blood clot(die), be at risk for amputation or well i can't think of the other really bad thing that can happen- but i'm sure those two are bad enough.

thing is, i need to know, even if you don't share works or reuse are you still at risk for those that i mentioned earlier. please be somewhat understanding, i have my reasons for using and can't ask anyone i know for advice or even a doctor as either may try to help- but end up doing more damage than good, i just need to know what are the risks of iving oxy and how likely. *edited, i am looking for any preventice measures if any. or is either a possibility regardless of any safety precautions that may be taken.

again please don't start with the "life is so good, you should get help, don't do it" posts or the "shoot urself, its the same" ones either, if you have nothing postive or helpful to write please move on to the next. i'm not here looking for a fight, just some advice from someone who knows more than i do, i've used the search engine and read as much as i can including some graphic photos of some subtox inj. but i just need some educated answers on the risks for shooting up with oxy. * had to edit, also i am looking for preventive measures against either, if any.

There is always a lot of danger with that ROA. The best thing you could do is to kick the oxy habit but you have to want that yourself.

All I can say is that as a methadone addict, I wish I could trade places with you. I would be clean in a hurry if that were the case.

But I wouldn't be me if it were that easy lol, shit flows from all directions toward me

dyno, thanks for the tip. from what i've been reading and please correct me if i'm wrong but if i do micron filter, it will reduce the risk of a clot(which could lead to death or amputation)drastically. so i am in the process now of getting some watson .22 and .45 filters to try out.

yay, thanks too, and i've tried it but so many diff. results appear and a mojority is people highly upset and quite "firm" for lack of a better word. i need help- not someone e-screaming at me about how i can hurt everyone who loves me if i die or how i should do everything their way.

ripamaru, what is "roa" i tried looking it up, but i get the feeling it doesn't stand for return of assets, or reservations officers assoc =) , as far as kicking the habit goes, honestly i'm not at a point in my life right now where i think i can, i just need help to prevent the whole dying or aputation. and for the sh*t, dude perhaps you can stay with me sometime, i live on a hill of sorts =)

By no means am I trying to force anything on you. It wouldn't help any as you have to really want to quit for it to work anyway.

I have been in your shoes though and I can promise you that you will bottom out at some point and want to stop (if you don't die first), by then it might be too late.

But you CAN always quit. For an oxy habit it is really quite easy compared to what I am going through. This is why I said I would love to trade places with you....and I would thank god every day for the blessing .


I remember saying the exact same things you are now a few years ago. It wouldn't have helped me to hear what I am saying either. I wasn't ready to listen. I eventually got tired of being sick all the time and spending 24/7 looking for a drug just to keep me from being sick.

At some point I stopped being able to get high at all anymore........It just became trying to avoid sickness with no pleasure.



Don't share needles ever.....micron filter......don't use any street dope that you can't tell potency or source. That is about as safe as you can be.

It still amazes me that I became one of the people that used to annoy me when I was going hard on the shit. I always thought they were just weak or something......turns out it was me that was weak lol.
