Benzos Recommended pharms for acute insomnia and anxiety

I hope the Soma would work. What chronic pain do you experience? If it is that bad, and is tied in with the insomnia, maybe an opiate is something you should consider. Of course opiates + benzos = very dangerous, but it might help with your sleep by helping with your pain. I don't know if that is very good advice, but chronic pain management could really help with your sleep. You say that you think opiates might be the answer. They themselves could help with sleep, but also could worsen insomnia. If pain or discomfort is keeping you up, they might help. They are very good for conditions like RLS. It sounds like GABAergics aren't doing much for you, even barbiturates, so maybe. Just remember that opiates are incredibly addictive, and very dangerous in combination with other CNS depressants (benzos, barbs, alcohol etc.). I am sure you know this, but in the name of harm reduction, I feel I ought to put it in there.

I have chronic pain from very serious hand/wrist surgery and having my acls torn in both knees, and a shattered/fractured and bone bruised left knee.
I had insomnia before but it definitely increased after my injuries.

3 times 1mg xanax for anxiety
2mg loprazolam+meprobamate or carisprodol for insomnia

i would rephrase this to take xanax "as needed" 3mg a day isn't a lot but it's enough to get your tolerance built up very quickly

otherwise i agree with the loprazolam+carisprodol for sleeping

benzosnomnomnom =D

zyprexa start at 5mg and work your way up slowly and if you need anxiety relief ask you doc about taking a small dose in the morning and a lager one at night

Nitrazepam and flunitrazepam aka rohypnol (nitrobenzodiazepines) were the two only things that could make me sleep a nice 6-10 hour sleep without ANY GHB when i went through my GHB withdrawal insomnia hell. And i could eat 100mgs diazepam, 28mgs clonazepam, 15 mg zopiclone and 100mgs Levomepromazin with no/little tollereance and still be totally awake. Same with seroquel in 300mg+ dosage, but with one little dose GHB on top i would fall asleep for tops 3 hours. I think flunitrazepam is illegal in the US (Don't know, dont live there).

Also i think Nitrazepam induces REM sleep fast, its therefore my recommendation.

please do yourself a favor and don't try zyprexa. Its a nasty drug with horrible side-effects. I had psychotic tendencies, rage, anger, and uncontrollable facial expressions.

Clonazepam is a nitrobenzodiazepine too. Maybe somewhat weaker than nitraz and flunitraz...
