that being said, maybe you should avoid it for a time, and see if the headaches dissappear, or appear under different circumstances. rest, rehydrate, take up some exercise.

trips are very unpredictable. imagine alcohol, sometimes you wake up the next day without a care in the world, other times you feel like the world just puked in your ear. it varies quite a bit.

i am sorry you had a bad time though. hope it will improve

This ache lasted no matter what I eated or drank. It was quite strong and annoying, and it had taken twice more analgetics to remove it, than just usual headache.
I don't think stuff could damage my blood flow, I guess maybe some problems with flow that existed before could cause this ache as a reaction on trip.
And hell no, this wasn't a bad time, it was magnifiscent, except the last time when a had a bad trip. Headache was annoying but not lethal lol.
 
Intramuscular 4-ACO-DMT duration & dose

Life is busy as hell.

I'd like to try this one IM'd for the sake of having a shorter duration.

What kind of duration can be expected, and what dosages have you used?

Not looking for hyperspace here. Museum level would be fine.

Did you eat 4-aco-dmt twice in one week? Was it from a reliable source? Just asking because i have never herd of anyone having this kind of reaction to this chemical. Personally i get much too lazy to even start to think about panicking, but it is a psychedelic so i guess it could effect everyone differently.

i had a similar reaction last august when i took some 4-AcO-DMT while coming down from a significant amount of mephedrone. It was definitely quite shaking, but i just rode it out. I did have a number of issues that i was attempting to avoid at the time, so that could've been the source of the negative feelings.

But yes what you and n3wt describe is a panic attack. And yes, they suck, but once you know what one is like it is much easier to identify it and ride it out. Benzos help ;)

I have IM'd 17mg and the duration was about 2 hours of peaking with another hour and a half of coming down, so I'd say 3 and a half hours in total, give or take. That said, orally 4-AcO-DMT usually only lasts about 4 or 4.5 hours for me. 17mg was ALOT stronger than I had expected it to be, and the initial wave was very dissociative, bordering on the sensation of "breaking through". For a museum level dose, I'd probably start with 8mg or so, with IM you will feel it within 5 minutes so you can decide whether or not to take more very easily.
 
Thanks Mac. 15 mg oral gets me going pretty well. Figure I'll draw up a syringe w/ 8 mg and start with half.

One 4-AcO-DMT trip I had was very like that. The situation was very unfavourable, with inexperienced trippers present and reasons to worry arising during the trip, and with imprecise dosing (the material itself was reliably 4-AcO-DMT). Every other time I've taken it, it's been friendly and lovely.

I'm just beginning my research on this one but figured I'd ask here first in case anyone knew off the top of their head:

Is it safe to take this while on a tricyclic antidepressant? Specifically nortriptyline?
 
n3wt, a similar thing happened to me on 40 mg of 4-HO-MET. Sometimes it is very hard to let go. Hypersensory experience along with paranoid tendencies isn't fun :/
 
4-AcO-DMT and phlegm

I've done some pretty thorough searching on this subject but have come up with little to nothing pertaining to my problem.

The symptom I get is insane phlegminess. About 1.5 hrs after ingestion when I'm normally fully into the experience I start coughing alot. Never coughing anything up. Just extreme congestion in my chest. Now, I am a smoker and I thought that, after my 1st experience, this was the cause. But for my 2nd trip I intentionally omitted cigarettes for 1.5 hours prior to ingestion and for the entirety of the trip.

At times it feels like I'm so congested that my breathing is inhibited slightly. Which, when on a potent psychedelic, isn't a good thing to start thinking about. It eventually goes away but usually after the visuals have worn off and it's a mental buzz left.

I also get abnormally gassy as well but it's not really an issue. I can deal with it :)

Anyone else experience the presence of excessive phlegm on 4-AcO-DMT? I seem to remember experiencing this on mushrooms as well but to a much lesser degree.
 
i've noticed excessive phlegm production on numerous psychedelics. i think it might just be one of the weird side-effects of 5HT2 agonism, nothing to be alarmed about. unless it really gets in the way of the experience that is, and you might try benadryl or other anti-histamine perhaps?
 
Upped my does to 19mg last night but had an allegra12 15 minutes prior to dosing. Almost no congestion :D The psuedo from it didn't affect my trip, which I was slightly worried about. Also note that I'm well aware of the possibility of a placebo effect ;)

Now I need to take a Beano with my next dose to combat the brutal gas this shit gives me and I'll be good to go.
 
I noticed this too, but without coughing. A effect that worries me a bit from 4-aco is excessive pissing. I could go to the toilet every 5-10 min in some part of the trip, and is a type of "urge piss", and i wonder if is dangerous (dehydration?).
 
I get pretty phlegmy on 2c's, usually at some point in the trip I will have a massive nose blowing/eye watering session. After which my head feels clear. But I've noticed it with 4-aco-dmt too. I tried mucinex last time I took 2cb and felt like that helped a lot. I didn't notice the ephedrine that night, but the next day I had an ephedrine hangover.

I also sometimes have to pee all the time on 4-aco-dmt. It used to happen to me when I ate mushrooms too.
 
some psychedelics do have some affinity for various histaminergic receptors, however usually they seem to have the opposite effect. I'm sure that it varies a bit from person to person though. I've even read some reports of people claiming their allergies were cured by psychedelics. I haven't experienced such an effect myself, but sometimes during the acute effects of a psychedelic my congestion at least seems abated, not sure if that's really the case or i just don't notice though...
 
no vendor/pricing discussions. Go look on different sites yourself, Bluelight is for harm reduction, not getting you the best deals on RC's.
