i know that DXm helps with either slowing down tollerance building of opiates, but i was wondering if in turn it actualy also decreases your physical dependency to them?

The only thing I've noticed is that dxm seems to reduce withdrawal symptoms, but it's not really that helpful since I'm on daily opiates but there's no way I would robotrip daily!

ya i have noticed this too, i am curently trying to get off opaites from a dailey dose of at least 90mg oxycodone and 30mg of methadone a day and im paying for the habit out of pocket so it has litterly ruined my life i have spent everycent i have earned and put myself 10 steps back on the board of life, so anything including ppl with more experiene with dxm for helping withdrawls or any sideeffects from opaite withdrawl i would greatly apprecaite it.i am only 19 and dont want to throw my life away on this shit i already lost the last 3 years

DXM stops you from increasing your tolerance and for a few people it helps some withdrawal symptoms. But it doesn't decrease your physical dependency. Immodium (Loperamide, an anti-diarrhea otc product) if taken at high enough doses can be used for successful tapers though, there are many threads about Lope here so that may help you.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, last I checked dxm can't roll back time and give you your 3 years back.

And dude gimme a break you're only 19, saying your life is off track and ruined is like a beauty queen getting a pimple and being worried no one will ever find her attractive again.

So get some pimples, meet a beauty queen, share a bottle of Robotussin and life will be back to normal!
