Eating a ten strip of acid at once - what to expect?

the elephant didn't die from lsd overdose, it died when the doctors who administered the lsd got freaked out that it's heart was beating so slowly, so they fed it some thorazine. that's what killed it.

dammit, i can't find the reference, but i know i have it somewhere.
 
I know, just that amount of L being visible to the naked eye is a heroic dose.

God how I hate that term "heroic dose". What exactly is heroic about taking massive doses of psychedelics?
I reckon under the right conditions 10mg would be visible to the naked eye...
 
I'm going to have to disagree with just ONE thing in this thread, the idea that Delta 9 is an Elitist, no he's not an Elitist, Delta 9 is an arrogant prick who would snitch on his own grandmother if he found her growing pot in her backyard. Loyalty and street codes of honor are a far fetched concept to this douschebag, I mean for gods sake the guy literally THINKS he IS a moderator, telling people where they can post and what, and having the utter nerve to report them for it, and if you say anything back to the guy he reports you for that. snitching must be in his bloodline, quite odd for someone on a friggin DRUG SITE, yeah we're all drug users here, and what do most drug users inherently know? ..... I'll give u a sec....... STAY AWAY FROM THE TATTLE-TELLS!! They'll do nothing but get you in trouble, these are the kind of guys that become informants for the police getting your dealers busted all the while sitting in his comfy house, doing the same drugs your guys in jail for selling.... ya know cause he had to "report" him...... so no he's not an "elitist" just a know it all, wannabe mod, tattle-tell, piece of shit.....

i have never heard of someone taking a full gram of LSD before and i'd like a source for that

the most ive ever heard was a (questionable) report on erowid about a 333mg dose, in which case the guy actually ended up dying (thought the CoD wasn't clear or something)

I was completely fine without a sitter alone in the house. I prefer not having to interact with sober people whilst tripping.

I took a 10 strip once, didn't feel much different to a 5 strip to be honest.

last time i did 10 strip(well + 4 more hits)i fried so damn hard,was by myself and wondered what it would be like to go insane and believe my friends ferret was god...well i started pretending convinced myself to forget i was pretending and managed to fully forget i was just pretending.....so for the next 4 hours till i peakedout a bit i was on my knees praying and in tears for the ferret to accept my humble offering of a marijuana bud and not to eat my soul....he didnt eat the bud so i was terrified!!!;)by now u have taken the 10 strip u should comment on how it went!
 
the higher you dose the LSD, the greater chances of your having a profound mystical religious experience. This can occur at lower doses as well, but there is no escaping it past a certain level.

when a decade ago I took 12 hits, I at first prayed for God to keep me alive, I felt as if I was dying for real for a good 20 minutes, then I felt better, then I saw 3-dimensional images with open eyes of images about a foot tall and a foot wide floating in front of me, some of the things were the Great Pyramids as if created anew, with gold shining all over the bricks, it was more real than anything I had ever seen before, intense euphoria for what I was seeing, then saw two brightly lit dragons twisting with each other in the form of DNA, I saw spirits shoot thru the perceived house.....later I heard a voice talk to me and give me direction for my life.

before I ever took the 12 hits, I prayed for guidance, prayed to God. I was in a very difficult point in my life with drug problems, loosing many of my friends due to a move, and un-sure of my future.

The voice was the softest most caring and guiding voice I had ever heard, it communicated with me telepathically and I filled over 10 sheets of post-its with notes the voice told me, one of which it told me was "God is Love."

Later I learned by reading "Moksha" by aldous huxley that he received the same message on one of his acid trips.

That trip was a turning point in my life and literally saved my life and gave me new direction.

I now over a decade past have a profound sense of spirituality and awe for Nature it-self, enjoy walking my dog in natural water settings.....thoughts and things that I never used to do before, and the trip is the reason.

I would never ever do that high a dose again, it is once in a lifetime only, it was the most frightening experience of my life during the 1/2 hour it was coming on...i literally felt I was going to die...

This is not true.*

I have had a full ++++ experience on a single hit of lsd (~150-175ug). As mentioned, saturation of relevant receptor sites occurs around 1.5mg-2mg and after that lsd will start to target the dopamine, histamine, and other receptors responsible for the "negative" physical sensations and thoughts.
In short, more drugs =/= more insight. Less is more friend. :)

*To be fair I should say this is very, very rarely true.
