what could be in fake 80's?

a buddy of mine supposedly knows someone who has made "fake" 80's.. People who have tried them say they are incredibly similar in the high they give you.. they look more or less the same and have the time seal and everything. What could possible be in them? I'm assuming some other type of opiate?
 
is there any way to test what's in them? cuz i wud be interested in finding out.. my boi who does oc's everyday did em said he felt it was very similar to the oc high experienced no withdrawal that day did an 80 a day as he usually would.. so its definitely some kind of opiate
 
This isn't ADD material but before they closed off the micrograms to the public there was a fake oxycontin 80mg pill that was comprised of heroin and caffeine.

See page 13 here. There actually were 9 different seizures reported that year with about 20 different ingredients. I imagine this sort of thing is common and very profitable.
 
Other opioids are much cheaper than oxycodone and so dealers will prey on naive users who want oxycodone by selling them other things at a markup. It's not like oxy is much better of a high, but many users (mistakenly) believe it is safer or less addictive than other opioids, perhaps because it is legal.
 
Isn't tramadol supposed to be pretty similar

20 once and pretty much felt like heroin...
 
Assuming that you're talking about fake OxyContin 80mg pills...

Could be anything, read the other thread. There is also a distinct possibility that there isn't anything in them at all.

I've read the other thread, there is (was?, I dunno if they're still available) an issue of the DEA microgram that mentioned fake '80s contained fentanyl, which would explain why your buddy got an opiate high off them. However, fentanyl and oxycodone are very different opiates and fentanyl is downright dangerous if not taken extremely carefully.

We can't tell you what's in your friend's (possibly) fake pill. When in doubt, flush 'em down the toilet.

If they look the same and get you the same high the obvious answer is they are real OC's.

Do the questions get harder from here?
 
Remember, this was posted in Advanced Drug Discussion, so I guess not.

We can't ID your pills man. Especially when it looks like you answered your own question (more or less).
