is this restricted to vets in all of australia, is this how they put down sick animals?
vets are meant to have the highest rate of any profession with suicides, because they have to kill all these animals all the time and have access to drugs to kill themselves painlessly (hopefully the OD is painless...)

so obviously even though all doses have to be logged and levels checked by the government or whatever, they still get to touch the stuff and maybe some does get sold oput to people who want to die because of illness.

is phentobarb the most deadly barb?
 
You mean pentobarbitol?

It's potent, but it's not necessarily the most deadly. I think it gets used because of it's short duration of action and relative potency as well as it's powerful CNS depressing effects.
 
What do you euthanize people with?

also a slightly different topic question.. saves me from staerting a new thread.

If you were going under for a medium to longer timed operation like an ankle operation.
what downers should i ESPECIALLY avoid if i do not want to die.. heh.
or combos to avoid bwefore this kind of anaestetic

i know a guy that had 150 phenobarbitol tablets and didnt die from overdoes, he is quite heavier than me. so they seem like a very weak drug?
 
there is a big difference between pentobarbital and phenobarbital. Lagger, the best drug to have before a general anesthetic is none. If you are anxious about undergoing the op, discuss it with your physician. General aneasthetics are not to be messed around with

lagger: Compared to benzodiazepines they are more lethal, especially with other CNS depressants. And there is a huge difference between pento- and phenobarbitol.
 
What would one have to take to die from going under, like benzos barbs, alcohol and thern go into the operation?

only asking so i do the opposite .
 
lagger, stop spamming, you ask the most silly questions, and really there are better places to go to to ask help http://www.lifeline.org.au/, if you are meaning to end it with medical assistance, please take stock on the impact of what you are wishing to do on others lives.
There are other options, but i dont think you will find them on this site as bluelight is about supporting life
 
its just an interesting question, maybe i should start another HOW MUCH CODEINE thread instead?
 
Close thread me thinks the guy is clearly asking for info on killing himself. May even be a reporter check out his thread in social.
