So, is "nodding" just falling asleep?

I 'nodded' to an extent on kratom. Moving made me extremely nauseous, but lying on bed, I would sink into a blissful lull, my eyes would start to sink and this bodily euphoria would wash over me. Very nice indeed. It feels a bit like falling asleep, in that it makes you slow and drowsy...but it has more euphoria than sleeping.
 
I will say this much I love the nodI get from my MS COTIN ER I IV about 120mg and I won't nod if I'm doing something but as soon as I start to relax ill start nodding with a little itching and not only am I in complete euphoria but I'm also so continent not a worry in the world coming in and out of half asleep and awake. And even if I try to sleep I can't but you feel utterly relaxed but the best part is if you got to do something you can. And I have been nodding while I'm replying took Me 30 + minutes.

I dont nod unless i take benzos and oxycontin! i tried oxycontin without being under the influence of benzos yesterday for the first time,it was a poor experience,I was sick and just felt shitty for hours :(

That maybe true,but im not a general user of opiates,just oxycontin,i find that using with benzos and a little weed is as close i get to feeling perfect.
 
Your nod is altered with benzodiazepines. You do have a greater chance of just falling asleep which really sucks when it happens. Its happened to me a couple times when I took hydromorphone and clonazepam. Not that I have something against benzos with my opiates. You just have to be careful with your doses.

yeah i dont doubt that is does alter my 'nod' but without the benzos i dont enjoy the oxy at all,unfortunately i have a ridiculously high tolerance to benzos so the chance of me falling asleep are greatly reduced.(which is good for the opiate nod but not in general)

I understand what your saying, I love the opiate/benzodiazepine combo but if I take too much of the benzos the chances are greater that I may fall asleep. I'm surprised you don't like the Oxy at all without the benzodiazepines. How could you not? The majority of the time I takes benzos with the opiates I'm taking.

I've always taken the oxy whilst under the influence of benzos,yesterday i tried oxy on its own for the first time and the experience was awful,i vomitted (something ive never had happen to me on oxy before) and i just felt generally ill for hours.

Maybe you took too much? Vomiting is a sign. The sickness may have just made the experience bad. Because even if you took the benzos with it you would have thrown up. Couldn't have made you feel any better I imagine

I do like opiates but only it seems when i use them with other substances.

I dont really enjoy n0s gas when im straight but when ive taken mdma or lsd it feels amazing.

I dont really enjoy smoking cannabis when im straight but when ive taken mdma,benzos or opiates i enjoy it.

Certain drugs enhance/compliment the others as im sure your aware.

I can't get high on marijuana if I don't have nicotine.
Most drugs I can't get the full effects unless I have cigarettes
 
Yea just an update from last night incase anyone cares lol. was nodding for a good half hour (reality/dream state) then just passed out sitting at my computer chair for like 3 hours. meh, i'll play around with a different combo next week and see what happens. i loved the high i got though, and the nodding was pretty unreal.
 
You are putting too much k-pin in the combo if you ask my opinion. You said it takes 3 512's (15 mg oxycodone) to feel nice. Why don't you just take that dose with maybe 0.5 mg klonopin. That could make for a nice nod without passing out.
 
Or you could just fall asleep naturally, then as you are in the process of waking up try and hold that space, then you occasionally get to flip back into dreams and have some lucid and pretty trippy experiences in this semi waking state without pumping your body full of prescription medicine to achieve something that nature has built into your system anyway.

I never understood the "Nodding crowd", It's like taking laxatives if you're not constipated, why the fuck would you do it, you are gonna shit anyways..

Falling asleep is legal, free and every single human being does it at least once a day.

When I take opium related drugs, I dont want to fall asleep, what a waste of money that would be, you wanna be awake to enjoy the high dont you ? I just dont get it.
