Eating and Oxy

Take a break, and your tolerance will go down. I've also found that nowadays (after using opiates for half a year now) I enjoy eating on them.

I guess that the oxy works better on an empty stomach...

Anybody with more knowledge on this subject than me could you please confirm if this is true or not?

Today i have taken oxy for the first time whilst not on benzos,i usually take benzos first then take some oxy (usually 80mg crushed into powder and swallowed) then smoke some weed for a lovely feeling.

Today i took 40mg oxy crushed and then around 40 minutes later ingested the other 40mg,if im honest i think i prefer using the oxy whilst under the influence of benzos,although the last 40mg is yet to kick in.

Im well aware that mixing benzos and oxy can be dangerous (even fatal) unless you have a tolerance to both,so i wouldnt advise it to anybody who doesnt have a tolerance.
 
Opiates, as well as most pills, usually don't work as well on a full stomach, or after eating a meal. I'm no expert, but it's probably because most of the pill is absorbed into the food, preventing some of it from being absorbed into the rest of you're body.

Personally, I like to take them on an empty stomach, then after 30 to 45 minutes have a small snack to prevent myself from getting stomach aches. If you must eat before, try something light, maybe a salad with a few slices of cut up chicken. Some fresh fruit is always good as well.
 
to update my previous post......

i wont be taking oxy on its own again,i felt not good at all and i was sick.

this has never happened to me before on oxy.

Explain what happened? Did you eat before, after, at all? How much did you take? Sometimes I would get very sick and throw up several times, only to take another one when my high went away. Perhaps we can help. :)

I woke up and had a cup of tea and poached eggs on toast at around 7.30am,i took my first 40mg of oxycontin at just gone 9.30am,i then redosed another 40mg of oxycontin at around 10.15am,i was sick at around 12.00.
 
So only 45 mins passed between both doses, did you redose because you didnt get high? cuz sometimes for me i get the high 30 mins after then again sometimes i also get it about an hour and 30 mins after.
 
Same with me bro. When i have something to eat I don't feel it to be close as much. Even when I up my dose. I just don't eat before now and eat later.

Imo, you dosed within a short time period. Maybe too much oxy within an hour. For me it doesnt matter if I eat, I get just as high.
 
I ALWAYS eat right before I take oxys or especially perks otherwise i often get sick later, especially if i try to eat afterwards

yeah i wasnt feeling high and i always feel the oxy well before 45 minutes.

By sick i mean that i vomitted.

Btw im thinking of trying oxy again tonight without being on benzos (as im trying to have a good 3 month break from them)

Anyway i usually sit at home and do the oxy but tonight im going to a concert with a friend,so my question is....how good is oxy when used in this sort of enviroment>? and will a smaller dose (ie 40mg) be better then my usual 80?
 
Personally I don't catch as good of a buzz unless I take Oxy on an empty stomach and prefer to be alone..it's more of a relaxation thing than a social thing, for me anyway.
