Rolling In My Dreams? : Brain Chemistry

HI! This is my first post ever! I had a dream last night that i dropped some e pills with my older brother, and i swear my dream was amazing! i was euphoric and me and my brother (still in my dream.. by myself) even did rolling tricks to heighten the body high that i was feeling.
This is not my first experience dreaming about taking e, but it is the first time when there was a notable effect. I am in a neuroscience class and i am very interested about what kind of brain chemistry must be going on here. I was wondering if anyone else had ever experienced this or has any ideas on serotonin release while sleeping...

when I took acid I could feel however I wanted. When you trip it's all in your head. When you dream, it's all in your head. There's probably not much going on besides imagining an amazing experience that seems so real it is indeed amazing.

I had a lucid dream I was rolling, about a month ago. Eye wiggles, sweats, everything. Then I woke up :\
 
I had a dream like that a few nights ago too. I don't remember what I was doing in my dream but I was very euphoric and it felt like I was on E(I did E twice before) and then I woke up and was very sweaty and I still felt somehow good, but I went back to normal very quickly.

I was questionning myself about this dream too and I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who experienced this.

Did you ever took E in your life? (from what I understand you didn't)

I thought i had a comeback of the effects while I was asleep, which happens sometimes when I'm awake, but if you never took E then it's weird.
 
Wow this is so strange... A few nights ago I had a dream that I popped more than my average molly dose and was rolling balls, then something snapped me out of it. Really weird, I've never experienced it before but it's funny that this thread came up when it did...

This is really kinda creepy. I rolled in a dream just a few nights ago too, after watching BBC's "How Drugs Work: Ecstasy." I cant remember what the effects felt like in the dream though. Wonder if we were all at the same party?
 
I don't think I've rolled in a dream, but sometimes when I'm really tired and listening to loud music with my eyes closed I feel like I'm rolling in a way. Weird.
 
This is an awesome topic.
I get lucid dreams a few times a week where i completely know im dreaming and i can do whatever i want, have anything appear like that, and i feel everything.
Next time i get one ima try to think about e and see how that goes :b

You can control what you do in your dreams and have feelings in them?
That sounds amazing haha. I wish I could do that :P
 
^ You can dream that you are full on rolling, and you WILL feel like you're rolling. It's a dream, and you can touch/feel anything you can imagine. I took a dream-like dose of acid where I would think about benzos and feel like im on benzos, then think about rolling, feel like rolling. crazy lol
 
ever since i started my 3 month break 3 months ago, ive had a dream a week or so about rolling, whether it be actually rolling, or just gettin the pills. the few that i have actually taken the pills in, was so real, then i woke up like, damn. but normally i wake up before i ever take em... strange
 
I get rolling dreams once in a while. They feel like the real thing. The euphoria empathy and even entactogenesis. I often end up rolling with old friends who I haven't seen in a couple of years. It's really cool, the only think that sucks about this experience is waking up. :\
 
i dont remember the dream i was having but yesterday morning my girlfriend woke up and told me i said in my sleep "yo eva let me get a bump of that molly" so i was doing something haha :p
 
Wow, I had an E dream last night too! I remember checking my pupils in the dream and they were enormous, I felt great, all that!! I've had several drug dreams in my late life, including SEVERAL (somewhat often) heroin shooting dreams.....which is weird because I've never IV'ed anything ever... However, the way I would imagine it to feel, that's exactly how it felt!!

I'm really glad someone made this thread, I've wondered this for a long time. Does the actual release of brain chemicals happen in a dream, or is it all purely 'fake'?
 
I don't think there has ever been any research into that type of thing. The experience is so random that unless the scientists chose a group of experienced lucid dreamers an ecstasy users, i don't think they would be able to catch such an occurrence happening to study it.

In general, we don't really know anything about dreams in general, let alone drug use in your dreams.
