Swim was pulled over and found with cannabis in the car he was driving.
they then searched swim room at his mums place and found a few more small satchells of cannabis. they also discovered a bit of foil that they found 4 tabs of lsd.
does anyone have anyclue how the courts deal with acid users?


just wondering....

LOL mate, around here we don't use drug_forum slang, so cool it with the Someone Who Isn't Me.

Swim also needs to tell us what state Swim lives in/the amount of Cannabis etc. etc.
 
How did they go from pulling you over to searching your bedroom? They need a warrant for that shit, there's no way they went and got one because they found a bit of weed in your car.

There's a lot you left out there.
 
they can get a warrant within ten mins. they was in the process of doing it so he thought it would go better against him if he said yes.
me mate got outa the car before the cops pulled him over.
they asked if there was anything in the car that shouldnt be,
he stated it wasnt his car but his mums.
they then got curious.
his mum come out and gave them permission before they did,
they asked if he had anything once again.
he told them about a small bag which had about .6 of a gram because it was in plain view asoon as they open the car.
they they asked if he would mind if they searched his room.
he once again said it was his mums house.
they said they only wanted to search his room.
he then said he didnt want to be rude but for them to go into his mums house they will need a warrant,
they then got on the phone and was in the process of getting a warrant.
there was a msg on my mates phone that said can ya do me a ten mul from another friend. which the cops seen while searching his phone.
all up they got about 7g and the 4 tabs?
how much shit is he looking at?
 
drug rehabilitation (counselling) program most likey and maybe a little community service if it's a first offence if he has a good lawyer (Do no skimp on the lawyer get the best you can afford and then some.)

How old is the perp?
 
And remember no matter whatever bully tactics they use, refuse to say a word until you have spoken to your lawyer.

Damn that's a fucked up story, bloody pigs. I think it's only a case of minor possesion. If he has previous drug offences I'd expect he would be in deeper shit. To tell you the truth I don't really know exactly what will happen. Make sure to update this thread after he gets his punishment and let us know.
 
I still can't believe that they'd go to all the effort of driving to your house and searching your room because you had 0.6g in a car. There has to be something else going on there.
 
The marijuana by itself is pretty unproblematic. 7grams yeah? Its in the personal use area. for many states this alone wouldn't even result in a criminal record.

the acid, I'm not too sure. It could be borderline personal use. I can't remember if Vic state law is under 250mics or 750mics for personal use.

What is really worrying is that message on your phone. the police could argue that you intend on dealing drugs which is a whole new kettle of fish. Much greater likelihood of a criminal record and a more serious punishment than drug counselling.

Otherwise, get a good lawyer. Do not make any other further comments to the police without a lawyer present.

I also agree that there is something fishy going on, if they went straight from finding not even a gram of bud in your car to then doing a search of your room. Something your not telling us?
 
Definitely get decent counsel and BE COURTEOUS to everyone in any way connected to the litigation. I see so many cases where people just seem not to think their behaviour after the fact is significant; judges love that shit! I'm inclined to think that the penalty will be less than what you'd be looking at for even a lesser amount of illicit opiates.
 
Also it's most likely they were lying about the warrant and would have had a VERY hard time getting one for some thing so minor.

I forgot that bit.

So it sounds like 'cops search car, find weed, search phone, find message, BS kid into thinking they're going to get a warrant for his house (probably in hopes of finding a few oz or some huge stash of whatever), kid lets them search his room and they find more weed and some acid.'
 
Let's not speculate too much about this.

OP, should have already contacted a lawyer, and kept his mouth shut to the police. If he/she has not yet contacted a lawyer then get the fuck off BL and fix this problem.

It will cost you to fix it, but it will be worth it.
 
Whoever said that Acid is the worst durg that you can get caught with is a MORON. Talking about methamphetamine, on the other hand, or even cocaine...I mean if you turn up at caught with ringy dingy hair and it looks like you haven't gotten a bath by ya mum for at least 3 weeks, well then they'll label you as a hippie and drug diversion courts, here YOU come! No record.

I think he might have more luck if he dressed respectably. suit and tie.

BTW, it wouldn't hurt to stay in shape. fill out the suit well. Ask mr squiggle about exercise routines. He recommends doing 4 hours of intense exercise a day.=D
