Is big city weed more potent?

Coming from a rural area, I can say that named strains come through every once in a blue moon, and they always tend to be good. Yet some of the best shit I've ever had has been some of the most average looking. I can say for a fact that I get fire for the area I'm in. I will never say I have the best, because I don't. But it gets the job done. Light green with hairs and crystals occasionally. Sometimes the heavy indica purple. Always good. But does location have anything to do with the quality of the crop in your opinion?
 
Well if you live in a big city there's gonna be more weed going around so you're gonna have a larger selection of bud to choose from. There are always exceptions but in general you're gonna be more likely to find better in weed in bigger city.
 
It's all about who you know. Same with any other drug and quality thereof. There's people with the best of everything practically everywhere. You just don't know them. People in the high up don't spread much word-wise because they don't deal with many people.

I can imagine. Universities are havens for bud, haha. Yeah, I suppose that is what it ultimately boils down to in the end. I had a guy come up from El Paso to my area (halfway across the country) and he said mine was on par with big city shit. So your logic makes sense to me
 
big city bud and rural bud, its nowhere near as simple as that.

its ALL about who you know and who your supplier is.
in rural areas there are less drug dealers than in built up urban environments with thousands of people to the square mile, so your choice is going to be more limited,
unless one eyed willie, the dope slangin cowboy, has a good connect with many strains and qualities available.
 
Where i live all we have is dank shit. You get the occasional crap bag. When a dealer tries to sell me it i say, "I bought weed, not crap", and he gives me a good bag. Usually OG Kush, Master Kush, Northern Lights, or Durban Poison is what i get. And i smoke a 1/4 ounce a day lol.
 
I like how you averted answering the question completely. ;)

The only reason I can see to smoke weed of those qualities in that quantity is for some kind of medical relief. If you smoke like that recreationally then I pity how you've allowed it to take such control of your life. :D
 
iunno but I don't live in a "big city" so to speak, but the city I live in is basically like Berkley of the midwest there is always many different kinds of medical from cali/colo and recently michigan as well. The kids in high school smoke some regular bud but once they get to junior/senior year they start making some connections. I started as a senior in high school and made connections after about a month or two where I could get weight of medical..iunno though nobody else could until I came around now there's other people though cuz I stopped doing shit

i smoke a lot of weed because my tolerance is so high. But ive been a medical marijuana patient in Canada for about 2 and a half years. Blaze it alll awayyy. ;)

Haha, that was great my friend. Caught a chuckle from this. But yeah, I suppose it's all about the connects, and I LOVE mine. My shit never has a name, save for ''some good bud'', and it always proves to be, despite my area. Now I feel it's time for a G.B
 
some wee gardener in japan who lives in the middle of nowhere could have far better ganja
than the best "big city" dealer in LA has ever seen.

its all about who you know, and what and how they grow.
 
i believe that big cities have more of everything regarding drugs (even more bad weed) as they are all target areas for import/export and, usually, things are more expensive in highly populated urban areas. I have many friends in Canada with grow-ops and their targeted areas to ship to are usually LA, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, etc,. They can almost quadruple their profit by getting their product down to these major cities as opposed to rural areas, smaller cities and anywhere in Canada.

I find that in big cities theres a lot more people trying to sell you bags of garden plants and vials of road chalk and bullshit like that because there are so many people they dont have to count on repeat customers. Where I live its small enough so that if a dealer ripped of any more then a few people, word would make it around and that guys business would be totally gone. In a big city you got a million retards coming to the nasty parts of town everyday trying to get drugs. Theres just way more of a market for fake drugs because of the ridiculous number of stupid people.
 
I'm a high schooler in a semi university town near a big city. The high school has significantly better bud than the university, even though we both get from the big city.
