Anyone notice that chronic is easier to find than shwag/mids?

In big cities at least, in small college towns they have everything. But in big cities, it seems almost impossible to find shwag/mids, but chronic is everywhere. It's not a good thing either because only smoking chronic is too expensive :\. I'd be crazy to say it's bad though hahaha but still.

No this is not sourcing, and I don't even know how it could be since I didn't post my location! :)
 
This started happening last year for me. Seems like everyone dropped there swa and started sellin dank. The only complaint i have is that smokin dank all the time raises your tolerance like a mother fucker
 
It's the same around here, exc maybe for high school kids. The only time I don't like it is when I wanna make some edibles.
 
Yup I've noticed that.First sack I picked up was dank...so that says alot about the topic
 
in my area the people who will drive to your location or meet you somewhere, have dank and the walk in weed spots have mids. people who meet you somewhere with mids tend to be incredibly shady and you have to be careful not to get ripped off (like them grabbing the weed back from you and trying to run, bullshit like that.)
 
That's Actully true for me to. I find that most people who are selling good bud is leget about the prices and doesn't like pulling shady crap. I have a friend that has gotten totally ripped off and it was stress! Unfortinaly that was his only way of getting his hands on some thc. I was able to get him the goods a couple times though.
 
yah its cause everyones starting to go indoor specially in cities just cause theres no where else to do it and its relativly easy now to have a few plants in doors that are real high quality
 
People, where is "here"? Would add more to the conversation if you were to mention a location. I am in N.C, and as the threads title suggest - It is very true here. However, I am not happy with this change. I was a mid-grade smoker, who got great mid-grade prices. Making honey hash or budder was a common ritual with my weekly half-O. If I did choose to smoke it, it was lime tinted, well cared for buds. So, the smoke was great, but any and all should vaporizer anyway.

My point being - It's all gone. For an economically-wise smoker, one alternative (alternative being the key word) use to be buying extremely high quality bud, but also paying much higher prices. For the last year and counting, the alternatives have become the only options available. Either you buy dank for x$/8th (hell of a lot more than my mids ever were), or you buy premium/name-brand for even more x$/8th. Price breaks? Hell no, not here. Get your friends together to all purchase something sizable, and you save practically nothing unless you rip your friends off, and that's not cool.

Happy to see better marijuana flooding the market, however, these goons are still selling it for the same price. Meaning this, a cornering of the market which is not a good thing for consumers. Of course, I don't pretend to have any insight in the extremely vast marijuana market, or a clue as to where most of it stems from - pun intended, I'm angry and out!

If you are looking to save money, go make a waterfall and just only smoke using it. I have all kinds of insane custom pipes I've gotten from festies and a vape, and I still use my Arizona waterfall 99.9% of the time b/c it saves so much money :)
 
Expensive chronic is the norm here now, especially on campus (it's mostly students who deal to other students.) Reggos are available if you have a connection to a dealer, more likely of the "ghetto" persuasion as opposed to the college kids selling danks. I think it partially has to do with legalizing medical last year...there's a new, semi-legal way to grow quality bud. Nobody who's only allowed to grow a few plants is going to grow seedy regs.
 
"Here" is generally the north - north of what, well, that depends on the person, obviously. I know in Canada, we get nothing but nice stanky hydro or decent outdoor. Never even heard of Mexican swag until I went to Florida, where I got a really good deal, but the weed was over-flowing with seeds and stems and was def brick weed. Obviously the farther north you are the better quality of weed you have (in general) simply because you can't grow weed en-bulk like you can in the south, due to the climate; because of this, people who grow generally take more care of their plants. Added to that, if you're in a medicinal area, you're going to have some nice medi weed if you have a hook-up (thank god they have stores for that here, similar to Cali). In Canada, unless you're going for specific strains, weed is point for point no matter what it is (including medi), so economically it doesn't really matter.

I'm not so certain you understood my point. I'm not extracting name-brand weed, period. You could eat fine-dining every night, and spend a lot of money on things having little or nothing to do with the food. Such as: Service, tip, the chef etc. If you translate that into grow costs and what have you, you are able to see my point. The cost difference between THC by mass is not justified here in N.C when scrutinizing the name-brand and solid, locally grown mids.

I was not eating processed food, but rather going to the organic market myself, and cooking the food myself. Just as tasty, but much, much cheaper. Hopefully this post isn't overly congested with metaphors. Understand now?
 
Depends on where you are. I live in Texas, and I find chronic and schwag both equally easy to find (quite easy). My current guy sells both. Mids don't seem to exist around here, although a lot of the better schwag here would pass for mids in other parts of the country.

The popularity of them doesn't seem to change much., except that both continue to get more popular. It also depends on the demographics you know. Poorer people tend to smoke schwag more. Most people I know smoke both. I like to have both of them around myself.

It really just comes down to who you know and where you are.
 
Yes I first noticed this decades ago when I was in highschool. I used to get mids or schwag since it was mainly what people had and then by the summer of '00 I was smoking excellent kind herb.
 
Chronic makes more money than schwag and mids,so it makes sense to me that theres more of it around. Especially in the city where money is what its about lol
