There was an article about a young girl who took ecstasy which was tainted with something extremely dangerous. She died after her cells ruptured and her insides bled into oblivion. How can we know for SURE that this kind of highly lethal substance is absolutely absent in an mdma pill? Would pillreports.com really help? Perhaps the girl should have been smarter and checked there first? I need opinions please.
 
There is ALWAYS a risk. Thats why we push so hard for people to use pill reports and buy and use a test kit.

At least that minimises the chances but even then there is NEVER a guarantee.

Oh god... that is so bloodcurdling to think of.

I'm so glad you're here... you, Maz, and this whole community here. I'm the only person I know who comes here and researches. People are quick to call me paranoid. *sigh* But afterwards I'm the one who has a wealth of info for them. Lol anyway!

Intuition - Check
Pill reports - Check
Test kit - I do not yet have one. You'd have to scrape off quite a bit for it to work, no? Is there a distributor you'd recommend for someone on the East Coast (me)?

Try and purchase through people that you can trust. Try and get your pills from batches that your friends have tried out. Get a test kit, test your pills!
 
You only have to scrape a tiny amount off the pill for it to work. I ordered mine from EZ Test, certainly worth the money.
 
Ah, found the article . The chemical's name is PMA or paramethoxymethamphetamine. So my question is, do those testing kits tell the truth about possible PMA?

Edited: I think I found the answer here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah getting a test kit would be a great idea....These days pills can have almost anything in them.Most commonly (depending on where you live) BZP a chemcal used to de-worm cattle and birds......

Do the smart thing test before you consume <3
 
And after you've done all the checking and testing you might want to set aside a quiet evening to take .5-1 pill and assess the effect. That way you can relax and enjoy on the night of the real event.

You know there is still something I can't wrap my mind around.

Aren't most pills laced with something ? Piperazines, amines, etc

Then what's the real point of testing? So that I can hit my head against the wall and say "All that this proves is that I've wasted money on something I can neither use nor get a refund for!"

The point of testing it is so that you dont have to endure the horrors of ingesting BZP and the likes, so glad I bought my test kit <3

I still don't understand the strategy.

Scenario 1:You buy a batch of pills, you test one pill and find it to be no good, so you throw the batch out?
Scenario 2:A friend gives you a pill for future use; on the night of an event you test the pill and find the presence of BZP; you're out of luck for the night?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the kits just test for MDMA content.
 
The kits test for whatever reacts with the reagent. They're just a tool to let you know if your pills are MDMA-only or something entirely different - in the case they're different then you have to make the call whether to eat it anyway and subject yourself to something that's not MDMA or to just flush 'em. Drug dealers won't give you a refund most of the time - the strategy here is harm reduction.

Worrying yourself sick about PMA in pills isn't productive; it's very seldom used as a pill cut though it does turn up occasionally. Piperazines like BZP are far more common adulterants due to the cost of manufacturing PMA - piperazines are widely availiable - and the fact you're not going to boil your blood off in "overdose" situations where kids take 5 pills at once.

If you have a good dealerand you live in the right place at the right time, you'll probably have MDMA in your pills. If you don't, you'll have bunk pills and will have wasted your time and money. Such is life - there's nothing you can really do to control availiability or what's in your pill. If you want a for-sure good night out then you should look elsewhere.

1: Avoid buying a 'Batch' of pills and just buy 1 or 2 at first or ask if you can test before you buy if your feeling a little cheeky, if it doesn't test positive for MDMA then yeh throw the pill away as it most likely contains piperazines. 2C-B pills will go green so you know to keep those ;)

2 : Test the pill as soon as you can so you know whether you want to use it in the future or not, I wouldn't risk taking anything that doesnt show up as either MDxx, speed or 2C-B, but thats just me.
