hi,
i just did a cwe with 20 30mg codiene/500mg apap pills.
i drank half as i have a high opiate tollerance.
the guide i read said nothing about using as little water as possible, and i used about 300ml(!)
plus i had it at near freezing point but by the time it passed thru the filter it was a little below fridge temp.
any advice? do i need to get to hospital?
wish the fucken guide stated how much water to use as its dangerious for noobs like me, but i suppose i should have read more.
cheers!
never bothered with codiene before, desperate times ay. and i fucken hate tramal and im not taking that shit anymore.

You're fine. I'm too tired to give you the numbers, but you're fine.

Don't worry. 300ml of water on 10000mg of acetaminophen is not dangerous in a CWE. Some would argue in fact that 10000mg APAP straight up could be done safely. I would not recommend this though, you will probably get SOME liver damage over 4000-6000mg. Some say 2000mg, some say 10 000mg. Just don't do over 2000mg at once ever to be safe.

The point is that even if you ingested 10000mg apap straight up you'd probably still be fine.

I'm telling you this so you understand that your sub-par CWE is fine, I'd vouch to say there still is less than 3000mg MAX in your botched extraction.

Once again I aplogize for not crunching the numbers to fully explain, I'm off to bed now.

cheers mate i appreciate your reply, put some piece to my mind. now im gona stick the rest in the freezer, filter and drink the rest. 300mg codiene barely touched the sides.
(long term opiate user; been on heroin, oxys, morph, hydromorphone and been on the subutex, suboxone and methadone programs, but thank fuck i kicked that putrid methadone and am not on maintenance. doesnt help me at all, actually makes me worse.)

I'm also quite tired but the numbers are pretty basic.

1g of apap per 100ml of water is a good rule of thumb. So you only got 1.5g which could very well be the recommended dosage on the bottle.

ah cool cheers mate, just 500mg extra so ill be right and feel no signs of toxicity whatsoever. thanks for the helpful replies :)
Try to monitor for signs of toxicity. I am also going to say you should be fine, just try to use less water next time.

We have a CWE mega thread, do you mind if I merge it into there?

sounds good :)

For people who are afraid they aren't getting the water cold enough:

Keep it into the freezer until an obvious ring of frozen water forms around the surface of the liquid...

Also I don't know if the acetaminophen becomes soluble in the water again just from sitting in the filter for longish periods of time but, if you're really worried, just do your filtering in the fridge, provided that the fridge isn't too cold (might slow it down).

I think it's important to make sure you're not one of those people that it takes 1 hour+ to filter the solution, as has been said a million times, do not use coffee filters. Use a t-shirt or bed sheet or something.

Personally if my solution was going to take more than 30mins to filter, I would just let it filter in the fridge to be sure the solution stays cold.

OP - tell me something: when you drank this solution did you get a funny apap taste in the back of your throat and nose? i always get this kind of chalkdust taste when i do over 3000mgs apap.

That could easily be fillers, caffeine, or the codeine itself. All can taste pretty bitter and gross.

I'd also like to note that the signs of hepatoxicity to look for would be jaundice (yellow eyes or palms) and URQ (upper-right quadrant) pain... that is, the top right of your abdomen under your rib cage. Another thing is that APAP 'overdose' is a relatively long, slow process. You might not even know what happened until a few days after. But all in all I would say to never worry about extreme damage as long as you're under 10000mg. And I am not by any means saying that is a safe dose. Just noting that because I frequently hear of people who think they fucked up their CWEs.
