Three beers, one shot of Jack Daniels, 0.5 mg Xanax and 2 mg buprenorphine. I've only taken 1 mg of buprenorphine so far and I want to get a little more high, but I'm drug naive to benzos and opiates. So I don't want to go into respiratory arrest. Oh and I'm smoking pot too.

I read on wiki that 2 mg of bupe is a lot for someone who isn't strung out, that's why I'm asking.

you might not die but youll be seriously fucked up though. theres no reason to mix three depressants - alcohol, benzos, and opiates.. thats just a recipe for trouble. and i dont know why youd take bupe if you have zero opiate tolerance..

i would say cut the alcohol out of that mix and dont take anymore bupe, just go for the xanax and see how it goes.
 
Combining all of that with no tolerance is extremely dangerous, and could be fatal. I would strongly recommend that you do not.

Thank you. I didn't mean to imply that I was trying to kill myself. I meant that I'm feeling nicely lit and I wouldn't mind being a tad higher. I'm actually not completely naive. I take about 0.5 mg Xanax once a week. I did try 2 mg of bupe about 6 months ago. Got really sick and really high for about 36 hours. Tried snorting 80 mg of OC about a year ago, go really sick and really high for about 24 hours.

But bottom line, time to put down the drugs and order a pizza. Thanks guys! The 1 mg of bupe definitely gives me that glow though, feels nice.
 
I would definitely wait until you are tolerant to all four of the drugs before combining them. Then try the doses you mentioned.
 
I doubt you will die since you are taking relatively low doses of both Xanax and Bupe, but there are two things you need to take into consideration. One, everyone reacts differently. Two, a high can easily go bad if alcohol is thrown into the mix. Every time I've seen someone have a bad experience with a drug, booze was involved.

My advice is to stop combining alcohol with whatever else you're taking. Be smart, research what you're taking, and make plans in case the worst happens.

It'll be much easier to enjoy your high without worrying about if you'll die or not. :)
 
Yeah I wish my tolerance were that low for all those substances.. .5 xanax wouldn't do anything, 2mg bupe wouldn't, or 3 shots of whisky wouldn't. Fuck you methadone maintenance and permanent benzo tolerance !! DAMN YOU!

I definitely agree about the alcohol being the dangerous part. The problem I find is that alcohol and xanax impair my judgement where I start looking at those pills and thinking, "I feel pretty good, one more would make me feel great"

Ambien and alcohol are even worse. Then I wake up 8 hours later not remembering WTF happened or why I decided to cook a 5 course meal at 1:00 in the morning.

What's interesting is I almost always get sick off of opiates. This time I didn't barf even though I hadn't had any opiate of any kind for about 6 months. Hallelujah. I wonder if it has to do with smoking pot. I think tonite is the first time I combined cannabis and an opiate.

So the final tally was actually only 2 beers, 1 shot of Jack, 0.5 mg of Xanax, 1 mg of bupe, and 2 bong hits. I fell asleep before I could do anything else. Good combo. Scary good combo actually.
 
^If you have no tolerance to opiates, than if you ended up taking a little bit too high of a dose, if has the tendency to make you sick, and vomit. If you find yourself having that problem, try reducing your dose a bit. Did you say you railed an 80 a year ago and got sick? With no tolerance that is WAY too much, man. Before I developed a habit, 10-20mg of oxy would have me bombed, any more I would get sick. Now I obviously have built a tolerance - ( now on 75mg methadone daily, former iv heroin user, before that 200-250mg oxy a day)
 
Yeah I railed an 80mg OC about a year ago and got sick as a dog. Chin on chest, pupils pinned, woke myself up snoring several times. No other medications or alcohol were involved at that time either. My idiot dope fiend friend who was using 240 mg of IV OC daily ( as well as god knows how much Vicodin, Valium, Methadone, and Morphine) figured 80 mg was just what the Doctor ordered for a noob. I do weigh 200 lbs though so that helps.
 
80mg is wayyyy to much to start out with. Try 10 or 15mg next time.

And alcohol usually is the deciding factor in polydrug overdoses/deaths, alcohol and/or benzos. Be careful when combining.
 
Crazy, man. Your "friend" could have fucking killed you. Glad you made it through that, but that's a great example of why people should research as much as possible.
 
I would not recommend combining opiates, alcohol and benzos; however, and I know that this is terrible to say, but I have tried the combination before and it was amazing.
