Random MSN Gibberings LIV: teh polis are watching us!

yea, I feel great :)
I hate drugs that make me feel shite the next day unfortunatly they're the ones that are usally available :(
Takes alot of searching to find ones that make you feel good!
It's warmed up down here now the sun's out :)

do you not find that with most new drugs though?

my first few times on the md's i used to enjoy the comedowns as much as all the rest of it.

when i first started taking coke i hardly got a comedown at all.

the first time i took mephedrone i never had a comedown. that soon changed after giving it the benefit of the doubt a couple more times...

My mate just sent me a screen grab of his email inbox, the reason being that top of the list is a message from Steve Albini.

It's a shame it's only about a change of his user name on Albini's forum, but it's mail from Albini nonetheless. This will be difficult to match.

Anybody out there with Lemmy's addy? :)

^ No but Robert Plant lives near me (sometimes). See him in the Co-Op buying his milk and papers now and then. He buys organic fruit.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Foxy (or Moxy - forgotten already,) Mop. Totally agree with the comedown thing - I don't get properly bad comedowns often anyway but with psyches (especially the trypts) there really is no comedown to even be concerned about. Afterglows ftw <3

PT: *cough* highlight, right-click, search using wiki *cough*

Steven Frank Albini (pronounced /ælˈbiːni/) (July 22, 1962) is an American audio engineer, singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and music journalist. He was a member of Big Black, Rapeman, and Flour, and is currently a member of Shellac. He is the founder, owner, and engineer of Electrical Audio, a recording studio complex located in Chicago, and has worked with musical acts such as Pixies, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, Cheap Trick, Electrelane, Scrawl, and PJ Harvey, among others.

He's a bit of a gee-tar music legend. Not that familiar with his own stuff but know the name from loads of album covers.

EDIT: Badly beaten to it.

PS: Didn't know there was a band called Rapeman. Have the first few films knocking about (Japanese wrongness if you couldn't tell by the name) but didn't think anyone else on Earth (Japan excepted) had heard of them. Win.

Rapeman is alright, I prefer Big Black/Shellac though.

I'll go back to fapping over the thought of him emailing me login details now :(

ps: Parttime age is no excuse, I'm 24 :p

PT: Good point, well made, hard to argue.

Have a bit of a habit of just right clicking and searching stuff regularly due to being a codger with a shonky memory is all. It's either right click and pretend I know what you kiddiez are talking about or wing it these days.

Whore: Was just the name that intrigued me - have never heard any of his own stuff I don't think. Need to acquire more HDD space first though cos mine is at bursting point with music at the moment. And I've lost the sodding USB cable so can't even get at it at the moment :!

Apparently my friend only did it because of a lack of response from the other mods on Electrical! It was a joke that paid off massively - he's a recording engineer himself and a complete Albini geek so it made his day.

Personally I'd much rather be 24. :D

24 was a good year as I recall. At least I presume it was cos I don't recall it at all.

Can't seem to get going at all today. Bad cos I need to do Stuff. Must get to the shop for baccy cos I've got none and really do need to get through a few more PMs. Eyes are all gritty (not actually tired for the first time this week though) and got sod all energy to make much progress on either front yet. Have half a bottle of wine to hand and said hand may have to connect said wine with my mouth - if only to get my arse down to the shop for baccy cos it's impossible to not smoke after a glass or two. That surely counts as HR, no?

^ Have a glass of wine to get you going and make the shop seem more dealable with, get baccy, come back have a smoke and finish wine. That's how I'd do it anyway.

I don't think I'd go back to being 24, I was a bit of a wreck, more so than now.

My feet are like ice pops right now. Bad circulation, I may treat myself to turning the heating on for half an hour.

Sounds like just the plan I was half-formulating but hadn't the energy to follow through on. Wine now in glass and turns out it's more like 2/3 of a bottle than half. Bonus :)

Also, I concur on not going back to being 24. My 20s were great in my 20s. Sort of. Mostly. Am starting to actually quite enjoy my dotage now I've accepted I am officially a codger. Can't be doing with all the endless feckin' drama of yoofdom any more. The Good times are especially Good when you're a nipper though, I suppose. They still are but have bigger gaps between than they used to. Mainly to fit an afternoon nap and an episode of Countdown in probably.

Had a great day today. Woke up early after an early KO from popping a Temaz jelly & some port last night, also smoked my first douchey in a week (excellent mix of druqkz fo shoz)! Was the best sleep I've had all week. Productive day in college & at the gym, not to mention a lovely crisp walk with the folks!

Also got exceedingly lucky & scored an oz of nice green on the cheap, which also netted me a free g of meph :) haven't had it in that long one bump of the powder stuff has me delved into the Euphoria Tunes! =D

Also more than I expected when my bank statement came through & a weekend off the up town ranking means Birthday supplies will be epic to say the least! %)
