Would using kratom bring up a posotive for opiates in a urine sample for doctors?

Was on probation for a D.U.I. State tested me, breathalizer and urine drop for months and most of the time I was getting high on UEI premium grade Kratom.

No, Kratom DOES NOT show up, AT ALL. Does not give a false positive or a positive at all, on the Nida-5 standard state urinalysis.

One thing I will mention is that when I was on Kratom and the guy at testing put the strips in my urine, he would always mention how long it took for the strip to read my urine and give a result. Always looked @ me strangely and asked if I was taking any medication because otherwise the results come immediately. When I was not on Kratom the results did come back immediately so the leaf does "influence" the test in a minor way. That's about it.

show posotive for opiates in a urine sample after using pods?
Yes. Poppies contain codeine and morphine and a bunch of other opium alkaloids, so any poppy based product could/would result in a positive urine test for opiates. Pods, seeds, even straw if you consume enough.
