I've never tried Ecstasy before and with all the descriptions that people give it's very hard to resist it. I mean hearing people say "it gives you the best feeling of your life", etc. is very seductive and I would be stupid not to want to try it. I've never done anything other than alcohol and weed, and a few prescription drugs, but I don't want anything bad to happen as a result of the MDMA and that's the only thing keeping me from doing it. I understand that most of the deaths related to ecstasy are water intoxication and I know very well how to avoid that, so can some experianced E users give me the run down on staying safe with the drug and how to use a pill tester properly.
 
Buy a test kit - scrape a small amount of the pill onto a plate, add one drop of the solution and match the colour to the chart supplied.

Take one pill in a comfortable and safe setting

Make sure you stay correctly hydrated - not too much, not to little.

Have a few friends with you when you pop.

Give the pill about 40mins to start taking effect, expect to feel slightly hotter than normal, sweaty hands, maybe the need to goto the toilet, some anxiety (your trying something new) and you may feel and even be sick - these are all normal signs and nothing to worry about.

Then either sit back and enjoy the ride or get some music on and start dancing about etc

Im sure you will get a load of other replies about post loading / pre loading etc but in a nutshell the above is all you need to know.

When i saw that bearlove had replied i knew OP had been answered ;)

I would say to educate yourself as much as possible before taking anything but i also understand that sometimes you can read so much about something that it affects the experience and with something like MDMA I can see that sometimes being a bad thing.

All you really need to know for now is how to stay safe and bearlove has pretty much covered it.

Cept if i was you i'd have another pill ready incase the first pill is weak.. You'll want a full experience your first time.

I recommend taking them in a safe, indoor setting if you worry about strangers / police attention, or outdoors if you don't. I always did mine outdoors and loved it.. just take it somewhere safe where you wont get bothered. Take 1 or a few close friends, all of whom (or maybe 1 or 2 not) will be taking them with you. Bring music! If you don't like electronic dance music you will soon. I recommend Happy Hardcore (I know other will disagree) or some nice trance like DJ Tiesto (Sparkles is a good song).. Maybe some drum n bass if thats more your thing?
 
MDA is the trippy side of MDMA, it's more visual - but you can trip slightly on high dosages of MDMA.

Not for MDMA but you need to remember that theres a hell of a lot more pills that contain speed/meth than ketamine - so if your only going to buy one tester then buy the marquis.

IMHO there are fewer people who have a negative reaction to the low dose of ket found in pills than those who have a bad reaction to meth.

Dont forget that piperazines like BZP, Tmfpp will not always give a reaction and its the lack of reaction or weak/watery looking reactions that give them away.
