My first post - how exciting! Had an incredibly sparkly and tingly day even though it's pouring rain here in Seattle. Can't wait to meet some fun Bluelighters for mind expanding sexy discussions of all things white, magical and crystalline.

Thanks for the friendly welcome, Codones and otherside!

I had a spectacular experience with meph once...mmmmmmmm - absolutely! Thanks for the reminder - I definitely need to travel down that path again. I remember it not absorbing as well as I (and the super fun friend I was with) thought is should. I'll have to crush it more next time.

I haven't been to Cobain's gravesite, but I was on a flight with Frances Bean and her nanny once. My other Northwest star encounters were meeting Linda Evans at Nordstrom, and seeing Bill Gates at a mall! hahaha

Yeah, Nirvana were awesome. Great memories. Heart shaped box is great. What do you think of Foo Fighters? I was never a huge fan, but I love "Everlong". It has kind of a dreamy quality that you can zone out to - but it rocks at the same time. Great after several beers - or lines - or whatever. :)

The first two Foo albums were great.....they were like having two new nirvana albums(almost). Most of Dave's new stuff grinds on my nerves for some reason. Nevermind and In Utero are in my top 25 albums of all time.

Even though it's kind of a cliche - Nirvana so defined the first part of the 90's. It just takes hearing the first few notes of Teen Spirit to take me back. Definitely top 25!

Candlebox, Soundgarden... Definitely! Seattle really came alive then. I mean, it was always cool, but then whole Nirvana/PJ thing just blew it wide open. It all worked so well together...grunge, coffee, rain, mud, heroin chic...

Welcome to Bluelight! Do you enjoy living in Seattle?

Thanks for saying hi, Captain H!

I really like living in Seattle a lot. I honestly can't think of anything negative about it (other than some of the usual city problems). There's a ton of stuff to do here, and I like the gray weather. Have you visited Seattle?

Hello, friend. Hopefully your screen name won't bring up too much of skinny models running the runway. :P

Hehe... I know! I've been in kind of a creative dry spell lately, but I've always liked the look of the ANTM graphic. Hmmm...maybe this will cause super skinny model wannabes to come to Bluelight via Google? Wasn't "heroin chic" a buzz term in the 90's? I guess it would be sort of ironic...

"Two beautiful girls stand before me; one of them has all the potential in the world, but does she have the confidence? The other, has personality to spare, but we're not sure her looks are super high fashion enough. So, who gets to stay?"

No, I have not. But it rained here today so I feel like I have. ;)
