valium or xanax

i find diazepam to be more euphoric, longer lasting, somewhat less sedating(in a good way), and cause less memory impairments/less likely to blackout.

i find alprazolam to be pretty overrated.

one a different note, temazepam and clonazepam are better than both diazepam and alprazolam.
 
When i was addicted to benzos for a short period i preferred valium for the lengthy effects and xanax for the fast-acting effects and potency. Thats why most people who are seriously into benzos are usually taking xanax and klonopin together or klonopin and ativan together. Xanax is your roxicodone 30 for quick relief of breakthrough pain and the valium is your OC 80.

Xanax is a stronger drug overall (imo)
and said amount would
give a stronger high

but having used xanax every day
for 7 years,
after tapering with valium for a month,
and a year of withdrawals,
I've taken both separately since,
and I find valium overall to be a much
nicer drug.

Xanax is so very, very good at doing what it does,
but I think valium offers more versatility
+ I think its muscles relaxation properties are superior.

Not really interested in benzo's anymore...
jeez long-term withdrawal is hell.
 
I'll take the alprazolam please :) I have a ridiculous benzo tolerence and so I'd prefer the strength of the xanax but in fairness I have found in the past that diazepam produces a nicer feeling
 
The more Valium I take the more cloudier I get. The more alprazolam I take the better I feel mentally. Basically I get greater relief of anxiety and a decent lift in my mood. I can't get "high" from either but the only benzo that gets me high is Temazepam. Don't get me wrong, I love benzodiazepines, had an 11 year affair with them, but the idea wasn't to get high from them. And, why I just said that? Rambling I guess. I Feel dumb also from all this oxy. I'm not doing a good job posting while I'm high.
 
I would have to say xanax. like people have said valium is good for tapering, and its longer acting. xanax however, being a short acting benzo hits you faster and harder. valium is better for long term anxiety issues as well as a decent muscle relaxant. but I would have to go with the xanax if I were you
