A lot of people here seem to piss on the idea that of taking nitrous while under the influence of MDxx compounds, so I am here to put all the facts out and shut up all the e-tards who have done no research to back up their hostilities to this wonderful gas.
The good:
-Let's start off with the fact that nitrous has NO LD50, however it does have an LC50. (The LC50 in rats is 160 mg/m3 over 6 hrs.) This means that it was in the air at about 89 parts per million over 6 hrs of exposure. The air we breath contains 210,000 PPM of oxygen and about 780,000 PPM of nitrogen.
-The amount of nitrous you would be taking from a balloon or whippet is not much more than you take in anyway, you are not killing brain cells by cutting off oxygen to your brain like most people believe. That only happens when you deprive yourself of oxygen, oh hey, can you hold your breath for more than 5 seconds?
-Nitrous feels amazing when you're rolling, if you enjoy the feeling you get from MDxx compounds, you will enjoy nitrous. Taking a hit of nitrous and hitting a bowl of marijuana feels like you're rolling on it's own, adding that to a roll already is MONSTER!
-Nitrous is NOT duster. Duster contains difluoroethane, trifluoroethane, or tetrafluoroethane (all fluorocarbons). N2O is obviously a very different gas, don't confuse it with the very dangerous fluorocarbons.
-Nitrous is used in medicine extensively. Ever been put under at the dentist? You took in a good deal of nitrous (when dentists put patients under with nitrous they make sure that they mix oxygen is so they don't kill their clients).
The bad:
-There are really three ways of dying from nitrous, the first is strapping a mask to your face and passing out (eventually forever), or falling after you take in some nitrous and hitting your head on the ground hard enough. The third way is feezing your lungs, which is next to IMPOSSIBLE to do.
The ugly:
-Nitrous is very easy to abuse because of how short lasting it's effects are. It is also known as "Laughing Gas" and "Hippy Crack". Because it doesn't last that long some people develop addictions to the gas. Don't let this happen to you, it's alright to want to take more but it should not be used daily, like any drug.
-In large quantities over a long span of time, nitrous causes vitamin B12 deficiencies (Nitrous oxide inactivates the cobalamin form of vitamin B12 by oxidation). People with normal vitamin B12 levels have stores to make the effects of nitrous oxide insignificant, unless exposure is repeated and prolonged (nitrous oxide abuse).
-If you have subclinical vitamin B12 deficiencies DO NOT take nitrous, you are the biggest risk factor for harm due to nitrous oxide, following by pregnant women.
Stop smoking cigarettes and pushing down nitrous, I like to take nitrous while I'm rolling while many people choose cigarettes. I will live longer just because of that fact. Be smart, stay safe
