How much propoxyphene is too much? i found a script lying around and did some research and it seems like a mild pain reliever, much like Tramadol which i am very familiar with.
I was just curious because i took 18 darvocet 100/650, 1mg klonopin, and 2mg xanax.
i have a high tolerance for both classes but i was jw what to watch out for.
and yes, of course i did a CWE ;)
as of now its been an hour and im feeling very sedated; high? kind of.
it feels like im trying to get high off seroquel if you call that a buzz..
is this all i should expect? so far the kitchen chemistry was more fun the head change

Darvacets the shittiest opiate, it seems like it's not that common for Dr.s to prescribe it either. I wouldn't expect much, you can actually od because the high's so shitty from trying to take more and more. Even though it's weak as fuck, It causes more respritory depression.

So dont expect much, smoking some cannabis might help.
 
You took 1.8 grams? 8o All I know about darvocet is that it is banned for causing heart failure or something. It'll be interesting to take a little look though.
 
Propoxyphene can become very cardiotoxic in higher doses, and has absolutely no recreational value.....even tramadol blows darvocet away. It wasn't really smart of you to take 18 of them without doing much research on them.

^He said he did a CWE which would limit the APAP to about a gram or so. If I were you I would read posts before you decide to post replies of anything.

Sorry I did happen to miss that part.....in that case, that much propoxyphene is still not very safe given it's cardiovasular risk at higher doses.

9 years ago, I was prescribed Vicodin for my pain but since I would get really nauseated, I came down in opiates & was prescribed Darvocets for several years & for the first 2 years, I actually would get high from just 1 pink pill & it took away my pain really well. Took them for several years & finally moved back up to Vicodin which didnt nauseate me anymore.
 
Darvocet is shit. No recreational value. Worse excuse of an opiate.

But it was stupid of you to take so much propoxyphene without doing some research. That is a dangerous dose well above the maximum daily dose. Hopefully you don't experience a heart attack or something.

Darvocet has been banned by the FDA because people were suffering heart attacks from them even in small doses.

I've taken them twice and neither times did I experience any sort of high, some sedation the first time but no high. I bought them for $0.25 each. The guy needed some milk money.
 
Back when i was a teen Darvon's whould give me a buzz. My mom would get 30 darvon's each month ..wich is propoxyphene without the tylenol. Take one darvon with my sinus med, "sudafed 120mg" and i would achieve BuZZ.! That was my first opiate. I also remember drinking beer with them in my late teens and getting a buzz. So back in the day when i had no tolerance to opiates they were great. So all you posters who say they are shit ..yes they are to a well seasoned opiate user, but not to newbies.!!!
 
the only opioid i dislike more than Davorcet is tramadol(weak euphoria and annoying SNRI side effects make it shit to me).

however Darvocet(with a CWE) and some benzos isn't bad and is better than being sober.
 
The reason I dislike propoxyphene is not that its weak but I just simply dislike the effects. Their weird and it don't resemble an opiate high. I don't know how to explain weird. I don't know which I like less, tramadol or propoxyphene. They both have effects I don't enjoy. Its possible that Tramadol may be my least favorite because it lacks sedation but I dunno...

i say tramadol is worse, i've at least got a mild opiate high from Darvocet and it had some sedation(unlike tramadol).
 
oh, darvocet? nah ill just iv this cyanide.

well i guess ill do a mini trip report from when i started this thread.
apparently my 'digging around' abilities are not up to par; for the simple reason that this 'shit' was in recall late last year. hmm, red flag???
didnt see it.
like i said, i took 18-CWE.
felt like chasing a seroquel buzz, not very fun. Tramadol is above this excuse of a drug to me, at least it somewhat feels like an opiate high... and its synthetic!!
anyways, heres where shit hits the fan
the next day i woke up to a terrible reaction.
if i didnt know better id think i had acid aka darvocet flowing through my veins and intoxicating every inch of my body.
terrible aches, the worst hangover x36 hours, and a fever of 102.
if thats not your body telling you somethings wrong, you tell me

i recovered fully as of today. and feel fine thanks to some strong antibiotics
IT WAS RECALLED FOR A REASON AND TO ABUSE, EVEN USE THIS PRODUCT PAST THIS POST IS JUST IGNORANCE ON YOUR PART, the wise learn from others mistakes mind you.
do yourself a favor and throw the shit away no matter what high your seeking this sure aint what your looking for, unless sadism is your cup of tea. see:title
 
I am glad that you are alright now. Hopefully you will thoroughly research any drug that you may be doing in the future.

Also, bluelight is a harm reduction website, and we are all happy to provide any information that may reduce harm when one decides to do a drug. As you see, we all said that it was harmful to do, and that you should not have done it. Thankfully you're alright now.

Maybe I read it wrong but Propoxyphene WAS NOT recalled because of abuse problems. It was recalled because of potential heart related problems...in other words heart attacks.
 
It was recalled for QT prolongation. If you have any cardiac issues then can become a problem. I am not saying whether good or bad high. Just trying to give a little more accurate info.
