Help with Oxy

I just got a lot of Oxycontin 40mg yellows. Old Formula, I would prefer the Roxy's but could not get them, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the time release off these tabs. Myself I have licked them and rubbed off the yellow color but underneath that there is the glossy coating and even by cutting them in half and taking the color off I still think not all is getting released right away.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it all at once with the coating off. I have never snorted Oxy before but I have done Cocaine a few years back for around a year but stopped.

Is orally better then snorting it. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks in advance.

a damp sock works really well to rub the coating off. try crushing it after you take the coating off. snorting is a bad habit to get into, and oxys have a better bio availability anyways

How do you get the waxy coating off underneth the color after rubbing it? And if you say not to snort it then would you just mix the powder with any drink? How about under the tounge has anyone tried that with any success?

just rub a little bit more, it will still look kinda waxy, but it will more or less be instant release after you crush it, you could mix it into a drink, or make a parachute or gel cap with the powder. it would probably work well sublingual but it would taste pretty bad imo. i would just make a capsule or parachute

The time release is NOT in the colored coating... The time release is built into the pill. To basically defeat the time release on the old OC's (not the OP's) you just have to crush it up into a fine powder. Then you can just take it orally, snort it, plug it, shoot it, stick it in your eye, or whatever you want to do with it...

The colored coating is not the time release. I can't believe people think that. The entire pill is made of time release ingriedents. The only way is to crush it so its destroyed.

Think about it this way....if the color coating was the time release, how would that work when swallowed? What about the inside of the pill? BTW you are very lucky to find the old formula. Jealous here, hehe.

but if you do a hlaf just remember....half of a 40mg pill doesnt equal 20mg.....there is no way to gauge the amount of substance in half of a pill

In reference to pills of course. I would argue pure powders and solutions are another story.

i've always sucked on the pill for a minute or so and the coating comes off. as said though, the time release isnt in the coating.

Pretty damn evenly I'd say.
Better safe than sorry though so why not crush up 1 pill and take half the powder.

Boy am I glad I never snorted any pills. I never got that whole snorting thing with pills but my gf sure likes it. I see people even grinding down & snorting the new Op's & yes, its possible to do & they do get just as high as the old Oc's.

Yeah I think in the States they have a lot of OP's now and not much old formula. I have the Oxycontin Canadian Tab "CDN" with "40" on the back, I have yet to see the new formula here in Canada, it could be but I have yet to come across them, Glad because I heard the new OP's were crap by a few people.

I actually decided to chew it for 10 seconds then swallow it, it was ok at first but by 5 seconds you can start to taste the medicine and it lingered in the mouth for about 10 mins afterward but it did the trick.

So all of you are saying is orally is better than snorting huh? Anyone got any suggestions on how to make it hit harder like mixing it with something? I heard grapefruit juice works but is there anything else? Thanks
