Both the oxy and the hydromorph are in time release formulations. I cannot/will not touch a needle to get high due to a needle phobia that I've had since a kid.
If both 24mg hydromorphone (time release) as well as oxycontin 40mg were at the same cost and taking in consideration the ROA is intransal for hydromorph, while oral or intransal for oxy, which (in your opinion) would be more efficient/effective and more 'bang for your buck'?
Myself I've noticed that hydromorphone is very euphoric and in all even more upbeat and stimulating than oxy. The downside to hydromorph is the duration which when snorted is at the very most 2hrs, generally though it ends by 1.5hrs.
I find that a 24mg pill lasts me longer in terms of days however its a strange type of high where I keep going up and down and if I don't take it too long I feel the onset of withdrawl (it's that fast acting for those who don't know much about it) so its something I would be better off without when using it for productive stuff like getting work done at my job, however I enjoy it a lot when i'm at home with nothing to do and want to get high in which case I buzz around better than on oxy (more euphoric by half as much though shorter lasting by more than twice the length of oxy).
A 40mg of oxy on the other hand is only 1 dose for me which hardly gets me nodding, though it does the trick and gets me buzzing esp with some herb, and also it lasts a bit longer.
p.s. I've snorted oxy's maybe less than 5% of my experiences, the rest were oral. With hydromorphone I've NEVER taken it oral, 99% of my experiences have been snorted and 2-3 times I tried it rectally which wasn't any stronger/better than snorted (and 100x more of a hassle).
