i used to smoke with the patches on lol.

but seriously the patches got me off cigarettes and i tried the gum at first and it didn't work very well.

the patches are more effective than the gum imo.
 
i actually find caffeine to be harder to kick than nicotine. i'm a heavily addicted to caffeine and i highly doubt i could ever quit it but nicotine(even though it wasn't that easy) i'm not having a hard time living without.

i've been off chronic high dose amphetamines cold turkey for a few weeks and i'm doing just fine. the first day i was a bit out of it but soon i felt completely fine.

however my ADHD is back. :\
 
That's what happens when I stop taking my amphetamines. My ADHD comes out in full force. I can't sit still, very restless, can't stay on one thought, always have to ask "what?" after somebody says something.

Damn, so your quitting benzodiazepines right after you quit the amphetamines? So you must be looking to come off all controlled substances.

ADHD is the same with me, although i just tend to annoy people and act on impulse(i bought a new Mercedes SL-550 AMG that cost over $100,000 while off my ADHD meds without doing any research on the car). i also can't really carry on a converstion very well(unless its something i want to talk about) and i get easily distracted by some of the smallest things and have bouts of rage.

i quit amphetamines because i can't deal with the comedown effects so if i was going to quit benzos i'd have to quit amphetamines. thankfully for some reason quiting amphetamines was not hard at all, i was just a bit "half asleep" the first couple of days.

my ADHD is very apparent though, my everybody is actually asking me to take the amphetamines because of how difficult i can be.

I have to stop taking my Desoxyn & Adderall XR for 4 days out of every month before I take my drug test because my Suboxone doctor doesn't allow it and for those for days I become so distracted and like you said impulsive. I to have a hard time having conversations unless I brought it up.

I don't have comedowns from amphetamines except for the symptoms of my ADD and some fatigue and I can be moody. That's about it. I can handle it but don't want to deal with my ADD.

why doesn't your psych doc tell your sub doc about your ADHD so you wouldn't have to go off your amps for 4 days?

also how did you manage to get scripts for Desoxyn and Adderall Xr?

oh well i've gotten scripts for many controlled substances from the same doc(once had Vyvanse, Adderall Ir, clonazepam, flurazepam, and Ambien at the same time; i miss those days...:().

Because my Suboxone doctor doesn't care if I have ADD or not, he doesn't want me on any controlled substances at all for any reason. He is a real dick. I'm on Desoxyn 30mg (15mg x2 daily) and I also take Adderall XR 30mg in the morning.
