Hi all, i recently bought a 20g baggie of real decent weed, i bought it coz when i return to my hometown i'll have good weed, all thats in my hometown is low grade shit. Anyway, the bud is green, smells good, fresh fluffy etc. But there is like 2 seeds in a bag of 20 gram? Whats up with the seedz?

The seed's were most likely created late flower due to the mother plant(the plant that grew the buds) stressing and turning hermaphradite(sp) on itself.In my experience, on all occasion's of this happening the seed's always turn out to be feminized.

It's a great way to keep good genetics going without cutting clones, if your carefull how you go about inducing the stress.
 
^ Not all females produce seed's, only if they are put through stress in later stages do they throw out a male flower.That male flower is usually enough to pollinate a few calyx's resulting in only a few seed's being created from the whole plant.

The seeds will usually end up feminized, although you still need to grow them well and keep them happy, any type of stress could easily turn them hermy on you.
 
It wont result in all female plants. You might get males, your might get hermaphrodites, or even the dreaded mutant (mutants are what make this plant crazy for genetic experiements) go look up aussie bastard cannabis

Hermies can still be smoked, they just be full of seed's. And mutant's just means the plant's come out looking like freaks, so they can be either hermie or female, and yes smokeable.
 
Hate it when seeds come in my weed.
One time I found like 100 seeds in a mere 2 grams, pretty much was seeds when I broke up the bud.
That was like an one time occasion.
I find the odd seed when I buy large amounts, never as much as that one time.

I've heard that hermaphrodites cause little to no effect when smoked.. At least from my uncle, who's a grower
 
Only when they're seeded to hell, or if they're low potency to begin with. Some of the most potent strains have considerable amounts of herms in them, not to mention a lot of those fem seeds as well, which nearly always have some percentage that turns hermaphrodite.
 
The whole reason seeded and hermaphrodite plants would have low potency is due to the thc production in the plant decreasing, thanks to the creation of the seeds. When a plant becomes pollinated it puts all its attention to seed production, minimizing the ammount of thc the plant has to offer at harvest. Keep males and herms away from all females if ur not looking to crossbreed strains.
