Alright WTF (question on holes in yo brain)

I absolutely agree that the information should be out there, and if they're willing, we will teach them.

However, in my experience, people with this attitude of unwillingness to learn about, let alone research themselves about drugs should not be using them.

ahahaha i agree with the music part holy shit, i used to play in a local death metal band, i was a guitarist, i did pills, and fell in love with dubstep and house music, once i started to get into pills and dubstep more i literally went out and bought a 4000 dollar set up and i've been a dj ever since xD

yeah i was also a prog metal guitarist for 5-6 years, and just a metal guitarist for over 10 now and since i started rolling and go into the scene, all i do is produce drum-n-bass and dubstep... i still play guitar but nowhere near as serious a before... strange so many ppl have this same issue. i just see the world of metal and rock as not being current enough, an album every year or 2 doesnt do it for me, i like being able to pump out a track every couple days or so now

I agree, you can't teach someone if they don't want to learn.

MDMA has the ability (doesnt always) to turn you into a COMPLETE retard just as bad as getting hit in the head with a hammer would. I see it all the time, and i personally have serious memory loss from it. The holes represent lack of serotonergic activity not actual organic holes.

i was pretty heavy into mdma and mda.
had an mri on my brain, and they found nothing wrong with it,

i guess if there were holes they woulda let me know

I just want to say that if you had physical holes in your brain, you'd most likely be dead. So yeah, no holes in her brain.

mdma really is one of the most harmless drugs.. when taken sparingly. But then you have people like me that think they can roll constantly and not cause any damage, pity

ya bro its so weird.. i like can't listen to the old jeezy and weezy stuff i used to anymore. Now i love listening to songs where the music is sung, and I like the electronic beats.. I gotta get my windows tinted in my car cause i cant keep cruising around blaring Lady Gaga's Paparazzi and singing!

Thats pretty funny! I used to only listen to rap and hip/hop and now I can't stop listening to all kinds of trance. I'm sure my rap phase will come back but its amazing how quickly my musical preferences have changed.

And for the OP, check out http://www.thedea.org/neurotoxicity.html

Understanding the history of the drug and how it truly affects your body is the best defense against abuse!

alrighty kidoz heres my question
i dont know what the fuck to believe anymore

like WTF
has anyone ever gotten a CAT scan after heavy MDMA use?
i need to know the facts

Damn I remember watching this on mtv before i had done any drug! I always remembered it and wanted to see it again since using mdma.

Didnt this girl take pilss everyday for months ??? Doesnt necessarily surprise me.

funny though I think watching this and I remember another one around this time about ecstacy on dateline actually inspired a lot of curiosity about it. Low and behold 3 years later I tried for the first time. (joined bluelight in 03 to look up my pill)

It also doesn't help that mainstream hip hop doesn't exist anymore and now it's "hip pop". Back in early 2000 when G Unit was big, there was still decent mainstream stuff out there, but now nobody raps anymore and it's all just expensive production.

"We still don't know what the effects of long term E or drug use are". That right there is what bothers the hell out of me. Maybe if they hadn't waged a drug war for the better part of the last century then they would know very well by now and everyone reading this would know perfectly well what (if any) negative effects of all drugs are. Instead of thinking about this threading and swimming in a shit filled sea of propaganda we could all be rolling our balls off. And what is worse is that because of all the propaganda we probably pass up some legit info on how drugs may actually be harmful in some way or situations. Sorry for the language but come on talk about irony! The only problem I have is that we are the ones suffering from their ironically unfounded reasoning. Us here at bluelight are probably some of the more informed people out there, in a non-medical setting, about recreational drugs and even we don't know half the stuff going on in our bodies...

But, but, but, Shulgin has ingested tons of Rc's and mdma, and probably countless other drugs. Ironically he had a stroke, but still, he is a relatively healthy and smart man.

shulgin did eat a lot of rcs and what not, but im pretty sure he was not a weekend warrior...

EDIT: Also! this is an important side effect I am experiencing, I have NO IDEA what it is,
but need some help in figuring out what im experiencing. After i quit rolling, i will sometimes wake
up in the middle of the night as quickly as the snap of fingers, and i will be in a horrible mind state.
Let me describe one of my most recent episodes..
I went to sleep, and out of no where I woke up and jumped out of bed. I was in a mind state of sheer
panic and terror. I immediately began walking around my house at a fast pace, looking around
and trying to gather some sort of thought. Only i couldn't think. about anything. The only thing i could experience
was extreme terror. I was panicing, racing through my house. The only way i can describe my mind state was
extreme terror. I honestly couldn't figure out what was going on or happening. I couldn't think. I'd eventually stop pacing and
sit on my bed again, don't remember anything after that i passed right out.

Sorry to break it to you kid, but it sounds like you have some preexisting issues with psychosis that you were unaware of, and using drugs sort of brought them to the surface faster. The things you mentioned could be signs of schizophrenia or other psychosis-based disorders. It is not likely the MDMA's fault you're experiencing these symptoms, but they probably most definitely didn't help.

I would honestly get yourself evaluated. No joke.

Just seen on my sky planner there's looks like a interesting documentary on Ecstasy on BBC3 13.1.11 @ 9pm... for those of us in the UK or who can get BBC3

"How Drugs Work: Ecstasy. Documentary which combines real life stories and computer graphics to explore inside the brain and body to find out how ecstasy creates it's highs and lows."
