How it feels?

Hey all :)

I'm fairly new to drugs, I used to/still do smoke weed, but recently everyone around me seems to be experimenting with E, Ket and various other substances.
I've always wanted to try E/mdma and want to try it now more than ever, but I have a slight problem.. as silly as it may sound, I hate feeling out of control, which in turn makes me not a big drinker, if rarely at all.

I was just wondering If E makes you feel horribly detatched from yourself, I'm not massively keen on the whole floaty spaced out feeling from drinking, and was curious as to whether it's the same feeling or completely different?

I'm also curious to try other things, but again, have the same problem as stated above, so unsure what substances make you feel spaced out and lightheaded, or if these feelings are what you always expect to have when on drugs?

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Normally, no. If you take a high enough dose then yes, but Ecstasy does not typically make people freak out, even on semi-high doses.

That said the come-up can be very harsh and anxiety-ridden. I would expect this on the come up to be safe. However, after the come up this is completely gone.

But its THE party/fun drug. I would find it extremely hard to believe that any responsible user would have a bad time on Ecstasy. That is, someone who doesn't combine it with too much other stuff and picks a rad setting and doesn't eat more than they can handle.

But the next two weeks after will suck, and the next two weeks after that will feel worse than normal, and you wont feel like you did before taking it until a month after that...

for me even on a large mdma is controlable. For instance last night i came out of a club and decided to talk to the cops outside about a lot of things generally being nice to them all my friends come out and think ive been nicked. But i had made cop friends as i call them :)

I can see how the come up and peak could be anxeity ridden as it can be quite intense bt equally extremely pleasent, think waves of pleasure moving through your body and huge euphoria.

For me a feel a bit different for 3 days before feeling normal again then i wont use for 6-8 weeks as i believe from personal experience this is a fair amount of time for recovery and i dont notice tolerance issues, ie not having to dose higher.

The next two weeks will not suck, not necessarily at all. That tends to come with abuse. New users tend to have a nice afterglow, and if used occasionally this would not be the case. I abused it twice over ten years and now that I'm back to using responsibly, I don't have any negative side effects except for being a little lethargic. I didn't start feeling the negative two weeks after effects until I had been using regularly for 5 months.

You make it seem scary. For me, the come up is not scary intense or anything like it. It's exciting, and I feel good. I won't say there aren't some negative aspects to it, but they pretty much all come with abuse. OP: I would definitely wait to hear some different opinions on it before you make a decision. This guy made it sound scary, and it really isn't if done right.

LMFAO Cop friends that is hilarious you made me laugh and put a smile on my face for the day.

It is the least "impairing" drug there is that can f you up beyond belief, if that makes sense? Or at least it feels the least impairing. My math skills actually improve, it's the only time I can figure out the cab fare change without having to count on my fingers

not impaired exactly unless you take a lot. If im floored I can be kinda spacey and stupid. You get real fucked up but youre in control the whole time

you won't regret it, i promise. I hate doing mushrooms and drinking because I cannot HANDLE not being able to act normal if i absolutely have to.

It feels like everything around you is the most fun thing you ever saw, and all the people you meet are your best friends, even complete strangers. Your fingertips shoot out little beams of energy & your hair feels like it's standing on end. You find music irresistible, little breezes set off a chain reaction of shivers & complex lights mesmerize you. There's a reason they call it "ecstasy". But unless you completely overdo your dosage by taking 2 or 3 pills at once, you can always pull yourself back out of it & act & sound quite rational if you need to. And you'll find you can start to let go of that need for control & just live & be in the moment, whatever that moment has to offer.

This.

Also pretty much a super prolonged orgasm while peaking.

TREASURE your first few times because even if you don't abuse after the 6-7th time you get used to what it is. It does not get any less fun but you know you are doing so the whole suprise factor is gone. Think of when you started smoking weed compared to now. MDMA is amazing. You won't regret it.

Physiologically it's the opposite of being drunk. Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant. MDMA is a stimulant. You'll have more energy, not less. You may find you get more coordinated in some things, like dancing. You'll definitely find your mind stimulated. You may find your speech center stimulated, that you can make connections between unobvious concepts & that words & phrases come spilling out more easily to express them. It may all come rushing at you so fast you may find yourself tongue-tied trying to get it out. You probably won't even be able to get frustrated about that because you're having too much fun. Just relax & let it wash over you, just enjoy being in the moment.

Yeah, it's nothing like being drunk.

You will try so hard to guess what it's going to feel like, and each time you take something you're gonna think, "is it working yet? Do I feel it?" The first time you "really" roll, you will feel like you've always known this feeling, like you've known this feeling forever. It's gonna feel sooooo obvious that this is what you knew MDMA would feel like, even though before this night you practically did not have a clue. It is a new feeling but it's not new and mind boggling at first like tripping on psychedelics for the first time, it just feels right. I was almost laughing the first time I was rolling because it was not at all what I thought it was going to be like and I was so far off, I thought it would be more of a trippy visual type thing like lsd or the comeup on shrooms for some reason. It is very weird to describe, anyone know this feeling?

You can't compare it to anything, it's its own class. Like comparing shrooms to pot, just can't do it! Or liquor to pot.

I find mushrooms/acid EXTREMELY frustrating, only thing not fun about them IMO. Can't ever decide on anything. MDMA is not even close to that though lol

Agreed with whoever says not to try Ketamine. Also, stay away from Acid and shrooms. If you're afraid of losing control and not feeling as if you have a grasp on yourself, then those drugs are not for you, as they were also not for me.

I do not handle drugs well, so rest assured when I tell you that MDMA is my favorite. I don't feel scared or worried at all. I get a little anxious on the comeup sometimes (and I have GAD) but it's never too intense. That guy is making MDMA sound a lot worse than it is.

Also, when people tell you it's like an orgasm... I'm sorry, but don't listen to them. You're not going to get the same tingly feeling you get in your junk when you have sex. However, you're going to feel fucking amazing, so it'll feel like a bodygasm, and not so much a sexualgasm. You won't understand until you do it, really.

Also, alcohol and weed make me feel cloudy and far away. MDMA makes me focused, and I've never been rolling hard enough to make me feel as if I don't have self control. I'm usually very aware when I'm rolling... not the other way around.

It is nothing like alcohol. Nothing like anything you've ever done. So there is no way to explain it.

Edit: And the comedown makes me tired and makes me feel copilot-y, but I'm usually cheerful, not depressed. I won't feel "normal" for about a week after, but it gradually fades every day.

Thanks so much guys!
I couldn't really find this type of question anywhere else as everyone seems to enjoy getting drunk, but all your answers have definately put my mind at ease. Am looking forward to trying it now I know it's not going to completely obliterate me ;) thanks again <3

make sure you know whats in your pills before you take them. on a lighter note, enjoy your 4 hour mind/body orgasm! ;)

I'm going to have to disagree. Back when I was getting the most pure MDMA anyone in my social group has ever had, I would most certainly say I could sit there on my couch feeling like I was orgasming over and over and over on only 100mg!! No, the feeling isn't centralized in your junk, it's all over your body as you said which IMO is even better.

Any other rolls that I've had don't even come close so I would believe many people have never had good MDMA. It's kinda like pizza everywhere else outside of NY. Sure, it's gonna be yummy, and if you've never had NY pizza you don't know what you're missing, but once you have the real deal, nothing else compares. :)

And yes, I compare Brooklyn pizza with MDMA. %)

I dont think MDMA makes you feel detached, if anything else it makes you more intune with your feelings etc (why its used in therapy).

If you take it in a club setting then expect to feel more out of it than you would in a home/quiet setting.
