Amsterdam is somewhere I have never been for some reason! maybe something to do with not being able to have a smoke anymore due to the paranoia that started with it, funny its the only drug that has ever made me feel like that, pretty comfy with most of life's other little pleasures

Didn't have any chutney (that beetroot one you sent was fookin' lovely). SO just had your standard Branston. Was still tasting it the next morning.

Drinking Chardonnay again. Dunno why this sudden switch to white has occurred. This one's Makulu Chardonnay from South Africa. T'is much nicer than that other shite I had the other night. More than half a bottle gone. Also, I remember when white wines were on average 9%. The standard now seems to be 13%. Not complaining, t'is just something I've noticed of late.

I should be buying the isle of arran stuff and shipping it out to you folks - this stuff is all gown n' cooked on the island, its hot but sweet and very tastee, especially with the local oatcakes and blue cheese. The cows are pretty happy :D

Dunno what's happening. I've got myself another bottle, Hardys Chardonnay this time (13% ). I seem to be developing a real taste for it. Another tough day at work has resulted in me hitting the bottle. But a few words were uttered to my boss, and we shall be sitting down for a proper chat on Saturday. I'm appreciative that he's willing to listen, and anxious at the same time.

I'm going to put that bottle of moet on chill tomorrow for Friday night...the man returns from work and that in itself is celebration enough I've not seen my old man this year yet...

My word. Have some for me. I've been craving champagne of late. Though I prefer Veuve Clicquot, myself.
