Medical marijuana Vs Street

Ok so basically I just wanted to know if anyone could give me a rough estimate of the thc content in medical marijuana....someone told me the other day the medical grade or medical marijuana is no were near as potent as the shit we get from mexico or your private dealer. I dont believe that for a second because I thought stuff on the street varies from like .3%-7% and I now in amsterdam they have bud over 20% even concentrates over %50 but again thats amsterdam, Im talking about medical marijuana sold in dispensary in places like Cali or colorado.
 
I'll say that once we got medical hear in Michigan, the real good shit started to appear. Couldn't comment on %'s but it's obvious whats medical and whats not just by the look of the bud generally.
 
You can occasionally find stronger stuff on the street (though not often), but you get the benefit of much more consistent potency with the medical stuff.
 
Some street growers, are really good at what they do. They produce very quality herb.

On the other hand, some street growers have not a clue what there doing. They produce some beaster quality herb that they pass off as medical. It pisses me off.

The stuff that makes it into the dispensarys is proper. You pay for it for sure but the quality is there.

In colorado, theres action going down on craigslist that is sketch. Kids claiming A+ top shelf, when its amature grown garbage. It all varys on the grower and if there in it from your benefit or to make profit.
 
like everyone else here seems to have pointed out, it all depends on the grower and the dispensary, there all different, no two are the same :)
 
Street bud is sometimes great, sometimes pretty garbage.
Medical bud is usually good, rarely garbage.
I say medical bud is better. Good medical bud can easily be as strong as good street weed.
 
The weed I grow is great but it will never make it onto the street unfortunately. When I see people paying silly money for junk it makes me feel sad and want to donate it for free. However due to the stupid laws, I'm the only one that gets to smoke it, not some poor person with AIDS.
 
It is 100% dependent on the grow. Medicinal can suck and street can be amazing, and vise versa, there is no regulation on an illegal product. It's all about who you know or where you go.
 
medical marijuana is "better"

but you have such a wide variety of choices and THC%...

either way, medical marijuana is just marijuana, not too much of a difference some street to medical, but when its medical you know exactly what you are getting.

There SHOULD be regulation on medical weed, I have seen some truly terrible weed at certain dispensaries in CO. So many dispensaries are owned by people that don't know very much about weed and are only in it for the $$. Anything to make a buck i guess. :p
 
Ive seen medical that was totally eh, absolutly nothing special about it other then the fact that it was weed and could get you high if you smoked enough. Ive seen medical weed that was total flame like shit right out of high times. Ive seen street weed that wasnt weed at all, just the bush clippings from the dealers back yard. Ive seen street weed that is just as dank as the best medical Ive seen, like three hits and youre stoned already. It totally depends on how much care the weed was given while it was growing and how good the seeds were that the grower used. Most medical growers in california and colorado sell a fairly large percentage of there weed to illegal places just because they can get a lot more money for it. Street weed means anything I can find illegally and I can find medical illegally so you cant really say medical is different from street, just that medical is street weed sold legally
 
Honestly both of them suck.

The best way is when it's grown organic with teas made, and completely flushed. A lot of clubs have weed that is harsh to smoke because of that.

i've been getting consistently good medical whenever i buy from the store. though i know a grower who sells to the dispensaries in the area and he doesn't ever give them the best of the best that he grows, and the best of what he grows is hands down the craziest, hairiest, most crystal covered bud i've personally seen in my life. mmmmm. on the other hand, the bud i've bought on the street couldn't really compare to what i've bought that was medical.
 
They are starting to track and regulate grows in at least one state in the US.

Personally I wouldn't want some twat with a clipboard interfering with my grow.
 
in los angeles at least theres good stuff on the street but med stuff is usually way better. You get to pick what you want and theres normally a ton of different kinds so i guess that helps too. plus i think a lot of people buy from the clinic in bulk then sell it on the street too
 
medical vs street only specifies the distribution market.

Good bud is good bud, from a dispensary or government, or from a dealer on the "street", when a good grower with the right equipment and genetics gets it right it kicks ass.
