Rolling while physically tired?

i took e many times after very intense work (12+ hours) and bham, no more feeling tired. just joy and energy. the next day, though...

Being tired has never really affected my roll, it usually just make the comedown/day after much worse for me.

Yeah rolling gives you some energy but if your body is already taxed then the recovery may be harder. After a stressful week of not being able to sleep well I rolled and I pretty much had to sleep through the entire next day to recover. I don't think it affected the roll itself, but I felt that my body really needed to get some proper sleep.

Just the physical recovery, right?
One other question, I usually feel pretty emotional for a month after rolling.
How can I eliminate or take this down a notch?
It can be nice, at the same time, it can be unpleasant.

Ive eaten 2 pills before a show, after staying up all night doing LSD.

As it was coming up i felt so lazy, and was about to fall asleep before the show. So i decided to stay in the car as i felt much to tired to dance.

Then about 10 mins later i started feeling amazing, and with lots of energy, so i went into the show and danced my balls off.

After the show, i instantally feel right asleep. Faster then i had on any drug besides marijuana.

For me, it's all about being healthy. If I do that, I feel fine afterward, just a little lethargic. I make sure to be healthy the entire week of. No alcohol, no caffeine, plenty of exercise and good diet. The day of, I do not starve myself, I make sure to eat a nice meal 5-6 hours before. Nothing over the top, but something light and full of carbs. Once I start coming down I drink a smoothie (the odwalla ones work well, I used to mess with the blender, this is much easier) and eat something light like a granola bar. Then xanax, 5htp, and nice full night of real sleep, none of that toss and turn sort of sleeping that I can't stand. When I wake up, more 5ftp, another smoothie and a nice healthy breakfast. I make sure that I have two days to lounge around and relax. I don't get the emotional after effects anymore now that my use is only a couple of times a year.

I make sure I get good rest before I roll. My comedown is like crap if I don't get enough..

Only one problem, I don't do prescription sedatives/any opiates. I haven't tried any either. I have some personal reasons for this. Any options to replace the xan? perhaps melatonin?

Oh yeah I have done it and it is a bad idea I suggest from experience not to do it and I will never do it again lol. It just makes you lesss hyper during your roll and tired and the crash twice as bad.

It affects me if I'm physically tired or not. I try to sleep at least a bit before I roll. If it is just with my boyfriend at his place or something, it isn't a big deal. But when we're out at a rave or something, it's really makes a difference for me. First time I was at a rave, I had a two hour nap before going ... and it was great. Wasn't tired til I was sober. Second time, I was up the whole night before and didn't get a good amount of sleep. It was not a great roll. It was still fun but I just wanted to sit and listen to the music instead of dance. I guess that's still okay but my friends wanted me to dance and I was like ... ahhh ... I'll just sit ... kind of dazy. Third time, I went to bed early and had almost a full nights sleep right before. Had a great time. Was up and dancing most of the time and it was just awesome in general!
