hey guys never really posted before just normally read. about 12:15 i injected 7 bags of heroin and i know i deffinantly hit the vein, normaly only do 3 or 4. instantly after the injection i got an intense itching and burning through out my whole body (thats the best i can describe the feeling) so i take off my shirt and have rashes on all sorts of spots waste up and also have little bumps on the arm i shot in and my stomach. i fell asleep and its 2:22 now and but now the rashes arnt as bad as they were at all and still have a few bumps laying around on my body. im bugging out and have no idea why or what could have made this happen. i dont know if this is something that needs hospitol attention or not. a friend says it probly doesnt and i should maybe give it a day and if by tomorrow see how i am. im just wandering if this has happend to anyone, and what they did if it did happen. or just any advice in gneral at al. im definantly really really worried
 
sounds like histamine reaction to me; same thing happens when you shoot morphine - "pins and needles" feeling. dont shoot so much next time.
 
thats exactly what i thaught. a friend of mine shot morphine and said something about the histamine reastion. but does that have bumps pop up on you too? so i dont need to go to the hospitol?
 
I would take an antihistamine. There is a chance you had an allergic reaction to a cut in the dope. Or, you had a histamine reaction. I am not sure.

Typically there would be a bump at the injection site, or it might go up your arm. I have only gotten it at the injection site.

If you take an antihistamine and it doesn't go away within a matter of hours, or it gets worse, then yes I would consider going to the ER.
 
the rashes and bumps are pretty much gone i think. im having a friend come over for a new set of eyes tho. now i just got a headache, feel sick, and itch, but opiates make me itch anyway tho. should i still take an antihistamine tho? thanks alot for the help you guys. like i said i dont really post just read. ive I.V.'ed a bunch of tiimes n this never happend so i was bugging out hardcore. still kinda am
 
also if the rashes and bumps are all gone and i just didnt notice and i still take the Benadryl will that have some type of negative effect or would it just have been pointless and nothing will happen?
 
Taking diphenhydramine (the active ingredient in Benadryl) can't possibly hurt the situation. Unless you choke on the pill or are planning on operating heavy machinery. It may make you a wee bit sleepier as well.
