Does eating effect a plugged high?

I ate dinner a short while ago(30) mins and I was wondering if it was ok to plug 300mg of tramadol or will my high be diminished?

Is it giving you the runs?
You ate it thru your mouth rite, you didn't plug dinner, too? J/K. (Answer: I, for one, don't see how. But things you swallow may be able to potentiate a plugged high -- e.g. grapefruit and cimetidine should still extend the duration of most benzos and opioids.)

Yea it won't affect it at all. I eat after I plug and my buzz stays around... Also when you eat your food isn't instantly in your shitter. It takes a while. Also if youre on opiates it takes even longer.. So yea it's all good!N so enjoy!

Okay..... seriously is this just like the latest thing to stick drugs up your ass.....wtf?!?!?
I dont mean any disrespect but perhaps some.... all of you experienced "pluggers" could shine some light on why this mean of injestion/administration of drugs is so appealing?

I don't plug but I understand it as a very effective ROA. For some drugs it's supposed to be the best ROA. It's about maximizing the high instead of wasting drugs. Why can't you understand that? ^^

I believe suppositories have been around a long time. I don't have the books any more, but in my history of medicine class I recall that they stuck shit -- er, stuff -- up their ass for medical purposes in the ancient world. (Looking for evidence now... to update later.)

EDIT:
Yes, this is Hippocrates, ca. 400 BC, discussing the treatment of hemorroids:
if you wish to effect the cure by suppositories, take the shell of
the part fish a third part of plumbago, bitumen, alum, a little of
the flos aeris, galls, a little verdigris; having poured a small quantity
of boiled honey on these, and formed an oblong suppository, apply
until you remove them.

That is somewhat different, I guess, since it's meant to apply a topical remedy, not something to be absorbed into blood (for that use of rectal adminitration, I don't know).

Higher bioavaliability, potential for less body load, and potential for less nausea.

The question is why wouldn't you plug drugs?
