Hey guys, ive experienced lsd 4 times. First three times were in my friends house with a small group of us, and the fourth time was by myself in my room.
There is a festival coming up and I have been thinking about tripping for it...
it goes from 11am to 11pm. I was thinking of dropping at about 2 or 3pm.
Firstly, do you think I am still too inexperienced to tackle a festival trip?
and secondly, what do you think of my proposed drop time>?
Ive only ever had 1 hit at a time, and the acid I have at the moment is the same that I have used for my last two trips...one hit didnt completely send me into outerspace - but its definitely had me tripping. So if I did go ahead with the idea I think that one would be a suitable dose...

More info, what kind of festival is it? Are we talking Big Day Out or a Psytrance party in the doof. Also just don't think about it too much, as in drop times and such unless you have some sort of schedule. Go to festival, suss out the vibes and drop when you feel comfortable enough within the environment, and if you don't save it for home.

What sort of festival? Sometimes you want a bit of "me" time, somewhere a little quieter or mellow to allow yourself to return to ground zero for a bit. Confusion I can recognise and handle as long as I have a place to retire and gather my thoughts. Last thing you want to do is be stuck 20 deep in front of Tool with a group of sweaty punters or trying to fight your way out of a boiler room.

I'm thinking it's not a bush festival given the timeframe and am also guessing considering it ends before midnight im guessing it's a larger mainstream festival. If that's the case I probably wouldn't recommend it, as the other 2 said you need a space of your own if you start to feel overwhelmed.
If you were to do it though I'd recommend half a tab. Trust me when I say too much at a festival can be a real mind rape.

If it's mainstream, I would strongly advise against it.

The one time I took acid at a festival was a big mistake. Too many people, no where to sit down and chill out. I saw The Vines for some reason, they were really shit, and I was tripping out so much I started getting really confused about whether I should clap for their terrible performance.
But then I had some MDMA and had the best time of my life.

I would suggest to not trip at the festival clean cut but if you have to just drop half. I say this for the obvious reason that it is half as strong but if ur acid is good then smoking some ganja should bring it up to a full trip, but only for an hour or so until the weed high dies down hence therefore much more manageable.
I am in my own situation on new years with acid as I going to drop my own 1.5 tabs on holiday at the gold coast for new years and my fiancé does not trip so I will have to do a bit of public tripping while we go out and get some drinks in. Fortunatley she is not the party going type so I can expect to be around the general public a couple hours Max and I will time it so I am not peaking around a mass of drunk revelers or sweaty club atmosphere

I'm very new to these forums, so try not to shoot me down. =P
Just want to say what a great thing these forums are. It's nice to see some many level-headed and local people gathering. I don't really know many trippers, even though I've been tripping pretty regularly for the last 8 or 9 odd years. *shrugs* I guess I was just never lucky in bumping into the right people.
Anyways I have a question, not sure if this is totally the right place for it, but I'll go for it anyway.
Is liquid LSD not as popular in Sydney or what? In all my years of tripping I've never come across anyone with liquid, until earlier this year, and I have to say that the liquid completely blew away the quality of all the tabs I've ever taken. Of course I've probably been getting crappy acid mostly, and usually stupid expensive compared to what I was getting a few years back. But that bottle is gone now and unless I go to Melb I'll be back to crappy body loading tabs. =S Oh well. Crap acid is better than no acid I suppose.
Also, to the people talking about tripping at Soundwave, I'll be there tripping too, so if you need someone to hang with, search me out.
p.s. sorry if this post breaks any rules. I'll try not to do it again.

Summerfieldayzes would be much more manageable than a BDO, particularly this year. Rammstien and Tool although visually amazing will just attract an agro crowd.
My first ever trip though was at a Livid festival though and I fucking loved it. One or two of my crew wigged out and spent it in a St Johns ambulance but most of us had a fucking ball. I found a little area where they were offering free massages and jugs of ice water.... fucking paradise! I also saw people stage diving 15m into the crowd from the top of the Big Top during Rollins Band. It was enough to discourage me from getting deeper into the mosh pit. The Beastie Boys fucking blew my mind.
I've seen the Vines many times live (always at a festival) and I come away amaze they were ever able to blag their way into a recording studio. They suck live not doubt about it. I would hate to guess how many takes they require to recoed an album.
If it's not too busy you should definitely check out Infinity early in the night.

If you do end up taking it and need some chill-time head to the ravesafe tent! You might just meet some fellow bluelighters spreading the harm reduction love
We had someone totally tripping balls there last year. He was so engrossed in his own little world he spent the last few hours in the chill tent and missed the headlining acts. He didn't seem to mind though

^ I would be keen to find out more about ravesafe in VIC, I just can't seem to find any info about it probably because it may not exist in VIC

I am an old(er) cunt so it was around 1994-ish at Davies Park in West End. It was fucking insane though. Either side of the stage were these huge white faces that had lasers projected onto them just before Rollins went on stage. Henry was out back talking while his face moved on these models high above the mosh pit. I seriously thought it was just the acid until the rest of the crowd reacted.
One dude dived from the top of the tent expecting the crowd to catch him, only to have them part out of the way and he hit the ground. I'll remember the sound of his impact till the day I die. To his credit he got up, before crawling to the ambulance site. 8)

Ive often wondered if id meet bluelighters in real life. Im sure I may already have, and if not I will at some point - the problem being I probably wont even know that they are bluelighters!!

Sometimes I think I meet BL'ers every day.
On my phone's Bluetooth I added 'Bluelight' to the name in case anyone ever sees it and is also a BL'er.
