sometimes ill shiver when im not cold. it happens at parties. i blame 2c-i for this.. my body KNOWS it was the 2c-i abuse.
I had a bit of a binge on 2C-I a couple months ago
respect the chem, respect yourself.
<quote>Could you share your experience - what sort of doses/frequency were you doing, and for how long? How much tolerance (if any) did you notice, and has it gone away? Has it qualitatively changed how you experience psychedelics? </quote>
Basically I was dosing whenever I had time alone. Sometimes every day, most times say 4 times a week. Sometimes redosing in the same day. I was generally dosing in the 20mg range, but near the end I was upping the dose bit by bit every time, getting as high as 40mg which was a terrible experience and I haven't used it since.
Tolerance build up was noticeable, but not so noticeable that I couldn't just up the dosage a bit to overcome it. The lingering aftereffects are basically just mild visual distortions. (Seeing shadows climb up things, stationary patterns appearing to move etc.) I've noticed that when I'm about to go to sleep or just waking up I get very intense CEVs, almost as strong as when I was on the drug, though those have been fading recently.
I haven't taken another phen since I stopped taking 2C-I so I can't comment on that, I have taken a tryptamine (4-aco-dmt) and it doesn't seem to affect the lingering effects from the 2C-I, I was afraid it might intensify them but that thankfully hasn't been the case.
That is some heavy 2C-I use - how long did you do that for before stopping?
Just remembered - On one occasion when i was tripping on a 2C (usually 2C-I) every week, I woke up, and saw dots moving along the edge of a bookcase at the other side of the room. They looked real, and persisted for ~20-30 seconds before fading out. They looked real enough that I wondered if there were bugs on the bookcase, but they weren't moving like bugs, so i quickly realized it wasn't real. That was strange. Never happened again.
oh my gosh! you quote that song-- i just googled that quote and that song is amaaaaaaazing. the entire thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YaV3fcxLEkThis is just from tripping too much...a lot of people "like" these effects. That's really unhealthy IMO. Just let go, stop trying to fight it and definitely dont do any more drugs until you feel okay again.
2C-I specifically seems to trigger persistent psychedelic effects when its abused MUCH more than other substances.
This WILL go away, just let it happen. Don't freak out too much about this, it's not uncommon. But it's not good either so just take it easy man. Much love.
What this dude is describing doesn't seem to mirror the positive after effects people describe from tripping, this isn't one of those constructive things. But it totally can be if he honestly works to better it.
