Cocaine What's that black liquid that sometimes fills up cocaine users mouths..?

I do alot of cocaine. Probably 4-8 grams a week. 8balls in one session and i just get bad dry mouth, and bad breath?

^Makes the most sense to me.
But yeah. the liquid couldn't have been clotted blood, which im assuming isn't super thin and filmy like this was. He looked really sick at the time like he was going to throw up but was resisting extremely well. Stomach acid..? The nasal cavity being damaged might apply as well, though im no doctor.

I'll ask him next time i see him, i didn't know this was really abnormal. :I

If he was about to throw up he probally up chucked stomache bile (dark green/black color) into his mouth and held on enough for him to catch it in his mouth.
 
from the on experience about the guy who experienced this with speed, it sounds like it is a cut/ filler that some people are using. I would abstain/ switch sources and possibly see a doctor.
 
You sure your friend wasn't "packin a lip" of some chewing tobacco or dip?

Thats the only time my mouth fills up with black (actually dark brown) liquid that I spit out.
 
during 20+ yrs of being a nurse in the ER and ICU i seen ppl barf up some nasty stuff.
if the dude is snorting his coke he's most likely swallowing blood from his nose. in the stomach blood turns real dark and looks like coffee grounds. when ppl have blood in their vomit it can look dark brown to black. there are a couple other possibilities but very unlikely based on the OPs description

Sounds probable, maybe even combined with some blood. I don't know much about chemistry but maybe something that reacts with blood/enzymes in the saliva and forms this black stuff.
 
Most drugs dry your mouth, believe me. Never mind the pasties, sometimes you feel utterly weird things as your mouth becomes way too dry. Dehydration and mouth drying can be a trip in and of itself.
 
Alright this has been left long enough and no useless discussion has come out of it. If someone exhibits these symptoms, they should certainly be examined by professionals. If anyone would like to make the case to reopen this thread, please feel free to PM myself or other staff.


EDIT:

Someone PM'd me about pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) causing Black Tongue so I'm reopening the thread. Perhaps if the user has used pepto bismol recently or the drugs were cut with this or a similar substance, it could explain the symptom.

If this thread once again devolves into useless banter and mocking repartee, it'll quickly be closed again.

Please try to keep the discussion focused and productive and direct the socializing to appropriate areas.
 
At first I thought what the shit is this, but I seem to remember something similar when I read a post on the first page about a guy getting it on his lips. I've had the same, it only seemed to happen when I had petroleum jelly on my lips to combat the dryness. After about 4 hours a black build up would slightly appear, I just put it down to dirt and vaseline, but could it be something else?

For some reason this is one thread that has really turned my stomach, I can really place myself in ops position, paranoid after a long binge not wanting to say anything... urgh. Think I better leave.
 
I may have found the answer to this topic...

After a search on google I found that the Op had posted in another site with the same question to which someone replied saying.... "It's called lavage fluid, and it's a lung issue that happens sometimes when you do too much coke."

Searching further online supported this finding and I came across these medical journals stating the appearance of black sputum or fluids in cocained and crack smokers...

If your friend also smokes the cocaine or is a heavy smoker this may explain the black stuff leaking out of him.

I would say this or it is tar coming out of their lungs from being chronic smokers and the drugs causing some sort of reaction, perhaps heavy breathing that is causing it to come up.
 
When I experienced this with meth, it was more on the grayish spectrum than black. But I would have to keep spitting it up, and it would keep re-developing on my teeth even after brushing. Now that I look back (this was about 2 yrs ago when I was fucking with speed & uppers) I am sure it was some nasty cut.

After all, this stuff was TOO cheap. $80 for an 8ball (I know, I know) Pegasus, to answer your question, This was when I would be smoking all night, and the morning after I would notice it. So within 5-8 hours after use. It was directly related to the cut present in the smoke or vapor or whatever I'm sure. Nasty stuff too, I would get spun for like 6 hours, then I would feel the nastiest comedown too damn soon.

as for coke......? I did coke everyday for about a year and never had it happen.

(I also experienced my front teeth becoming very loose after week long meth binges. Is that normal? If that's not reason enough to quit, I don't know what is)
