LSD, dogs, worst case scenario?

Right, after much waiting I have finally found a friend who can get me some acid. I've never done it but have always wanted to try it, if not just so I can one day candy flip :D
I'm getting 2 tabs tomorrow (no idea what strength, but she told me to take a half and I'll be chilled tripping for 6-7 hours and I trust her and her dealer is good (from experience with other drugs he sold her))
Thing is, I don't really have anyone here who I would be comfortable doing LSD with, so I want to do it at uni which is a flight away... I've read up on the whole sniffer dogs with LSD, and it doesn't seem to be 100% known if they can smell it. I'm thinking 2 tabs of the stuff in a sealed plastic bag up the you know where should be safer than the flight itself, but who am I to judge... If I were to get caught with 2 tabs of the stuff, going into England from Spain, what would be a likely punishment for a first time offender? Fine? Community service? Prison? Deport me?
Would it perhaps be safer to mail it to myself (using surgical gloves at any time when in contact with the stamps, letter, tabs etc etc?) Hence if I did get caught I could claim I don't know who sent it to me or why?
Finally, does a tab of LSD deteriorate with time? Say if I decide to wait for a beautiful sunny day, would the tabs be fine if left in a plastic baggie for say 3 months?

You dont have to that much of a percaution to sneak a few tabs on a plane. Throw them in your wallet, or in a specific page on your notebook that you cary on the plane with you. The heat from your ass might honestly de-grade the potency on your LSD.

LSD is laid in micrograms, its such a small ammont of substance its almost un-detectable without chemical test.

No, they will degrade quite significantly at room temp over 3 months. Keep them in a freezer and they'll be fine.

Also, I can't imagine anything easier to smuggle over international borders than a few acid tabs.

Not accurate information above. I've had hoffman tabs stored in room temp for 2+ years, with no noticable drop in potency, half of one would still have someone tripping balls. 3 months if just fine , and a freezer is def not neccesary.

Alright well the three things you need to worry about with preserving acid is oxygen, light, and moisture. You want to keep them in a cool, dry and dark place. It is very possible to preserve acid for 3 months without losing potency, I have heard many different people from keeping it one day to a year and the acid is still as good as ever. It all depends where and how you are keeping the acid.

If you are planning on taking the acid on a plane, do not keep it in your pocket or any other places where there would be a lot of heat. I recommend keeping it in your wallet. Also, I do not think you can get caught with it. It is simply a piece of paper and tin foil. They don't have an LSD detector in the airport. I'm not sure but I would say that the dogs wouldn't be able to detect it.

LSD is possibly the easiest drug out of any of them to smuggle.

We aren't here to tell you how to do it, but if you can't hide a tiny piece of paper in something else made of paper, your probably not trying to hard to think about how to do this.

I do not know what an x-ray does to LSD.... probably not great for it. I know of people who have traveled with a vising bottle in a carry-on bag. The risk there is from a TSA person sniffing the top of the bottle and it being high proof alcohol.... But a little bit of paper is just a little bit of paper. Aluminum foil might show up on an x-ray, for a short flight, i wouldn't worry about foil.

Also again, of course the mail is safer, being in the northern hemisphere, its probably cold over there right? Don't expect it to be in a warm place most likely, but so much mail is sent every day that going through even 1% of them is an astounding amount of work. A nondescript envelope is just that.... nondescript, it raises no concerns or reasons to open it.

Not in my experience. Significant room-temp degradation over 6 months. Unless they were unevenly laid and I consumed them in order of progressive weakness...

If you had a fridge why wouldn't you keep your acid in it?

The problem I have with keeping it in a fridge or freezer is that I live in uni halls, which means I share a fridge with 9 other people who I've only known for 3 months :O
I don't think they would steal it, but I don't exactly want my new neighbours to find my shit...
I'll try my hardest to find a trusted mate who has a small fridge in his room. And about the tin foil: Do the tabs usually come wrapped in it? Is it ok to remove the foil and put them in the same kind of baggie used for weed and coke? Is it even ok to just place the tabs bare between a few pages in a book?
If you had to choose between airport security and mailing it to your own name, what would you do?
I'm guessing since it's pretty much undetectable even to dogs, mailing it would be 99.9% safe. In that case I would favour this method because carrying it on a plane might make me nervous, and airport security are good at spotting people who are nervous from what I've seen on border patrol

it is a very, very prevalent myth that lsd has to be stored in a freezer to prevent degradation, but this is not the case. LSD WILL degrade at room temp, but very slowly. So the fridge or freezer is optimal but not a must, and if you do use a fridge or freezer you still have to keep it in an airtight contained. The important more things to worry about are light oxygen and moister. Therefore lsd stored in an air tight container in a cool dark closet or an unused sock drawer is fine, should last for months and months and months as long as you dont bother it, leave it out with the light on, or leave it out exposed to oxygen. An airtight contained is a must though, a simple zip lock baggie will not cut it.

also foil is not necessary, and the best way to store lsd by far is an airtight container, but any type of baggie is fine for a short period. I would not put my tabs in a book for fear some lsd might get rubbed off the tab by the pages. I would put the tabs in my wallet and walk on the plane not even worring about it.

The dogs have to actually be trained for things like explosives or drugs. I don't think they ever found it useful to go through all the trouble training them to detect LSD if that is even possible with those kinds of small amounts. Plus, the LSD doesn't just float around as a trace as easily in the air as a powder. So whether or not it's 100% sure they CAN smell it, they most probably are not trained for that.
Next to explosives they probably train dogs for:
- cocaine
- heroin
- weed
^I think those mostly.. other than that
- ecstacy
- amphetamine(s)

uhm I wouldn't know really how this list continues if it does. Perhaps with specialized units.

I wonder though if you want to bring a good amount of shit-reeking AMT with you in your back-pocket... will the dog go smell your anus because of the AMT skatole shit odor?
