I have injected 40 mg of Oxycontin a couple of times now and every time ive done it I have felt no rush what so ever and I have literally no tolerance as I never take any opiate more than once a week MAX.

I get the oxy 80mg tablet wash off the colour outing layer of the pill then crush it up into a powder pour half into a spoon, add 50 units of water and heat until it starts bubbling

then add another 10-20 units of water (to cool it down) then draw the solution through a filter and inject
- i am always left with a waxy residue which i never inject as I presume this isnt meant to be injected

Dont get me wrong I feel high almost instantly (for a good couple of hours) whenever I inject but I dont get a rush I have heard people online talk about

do you think I should try injecting 80mg in one shot?
 
You shouldn't heat oxy - the active stuff is soluble in cold water, you're just dissolving more dirty shitty cuts. There WILL be a lot of crap left on the filter but that's as it should be.
I don't remember getting so much a 'rush' off oxy - not in the way that you get a rush off heroin - more just the feeling of a warm blanket descending on my whole body, the high just kicking in fast.

I wouldn't go doubling your dose, that's a bit extreme, maybe crank it up it 10mg or 20mg increments. And I'm sure you know this, but on a harm reduction note shooting pills is awful for you - keep it an occasional treat.
 
I assume you mean the new OP Oxy's with the "abuse reduction" formula? The old ones yeah just crush, mix, and bang. I started low with 20mgs and quickly went upward. Just like he said, a little at a time. Don't worry in no time at all you will be bangin 80's all at once. That's when the REAL problems start. Research WD and get ready cause you will run out someday ; (
Be lucky you have any at all! SOME ppl can't find shit where they live.
 
i dont take oxy more than once a week

i get the greeney blue pills so i dont know whether to heat or not, by the way i live in the UK and im the only person who really takes oxy in my whole town/city as most people cant get hold of it. I only get it coz I buy them off someone I know who has broken their back.
 
Big darkish green circular pill oxy 80s don't need heat, certainly when I did then I did them cold and I got high off 10mg with no tolerance, so it worked fine for me!

I'm a UKer too, count myself as majorly lucky to have EVER tried them, was a long time ago and I suspect I may never see another one in my life..sad, oxy is my #1 favourite opiate, even above heroin..
 
Oxycodone isn't the kind of drug that has a mind blowing rush like hydromorphone or heroin. If you want to try doing 80mg in one shot with no tolerance you can...but it would seem like a waste to me.

Are you not getting high at all with a 40mg dosage? One last question; are you micron filtering?
 
Most people don't get a rush from oxy and the rush that some people get(which I do, only at very high does- which I don't reccommend) is NOTHING like heroin, more of a mini rush. Also like everyone else says DO NOT heat pills, oxycodone is water soluble so heating is unnecessary and dangerous because it releases some of the fillers in lnto water which is bad for you. And lastly in the name of harm reduction you really shouldn't inject pills but if you do you should make sure your using a micron filter which can be purchased online
 
As mentioned oxycodone doesn't have an intense rush when IV'ed. I have been flamed to death for stating this before by people who claim to get a rush from it, but i don't imagine they those people have ever injected something with a real 'rush'. I personally have never gotten any sort of rush at all from shooting OC, not even a mild one. You get high pretty quick, but you get high pretty quick snorting them too.
 
the rush of IV Oxy does feel good, dont get me wrong, but for me the rush after i take the needle out lasts like 10 secs, and im buzzed for an hour...waste of money..could be im on suboxone but i took 4 days break from subs when i shot 160mg oxycontin, the rush is more stimulating but still feel the opiate rush when one IV's heroin, where as heroin the rush is heavy, the high lasts hours....oxy IV is a waste.....IMO oxycodone PERIOD is a waste, it doesnt last too long, its too stimulating of an opiate, and the comedown is nasty (irritability, etc..) ill take hydrocodone over oxycodone

TRICK: when IVing oxy's, use ICE WATER when you mix it, it's called "cold shaking" i get most of the pill dissolved compared to warm water or a lighter under a spoon...

^bump sorry also, i even IV'ed Dilaudid, and let me tell you i was so pissed. i wasnt even on suboxone or nothing at the time, just did it cuz i had no heroin, and all i got was the 10sec rush and thats it! no buzz or nothing...

hmm I get a rush from iv oxy, not like an h rush of course, but it IS a rush, like others have stated, a 10 second one. My issue is that its pretty much the only high of iving this substance, its just a rush for me, no high. and I agree that its a stimulating opiate. I used to break the 80's into 4 equal pieces and get 4 rushes... lol I haven't tried the new 80's though which sounds like that's what you have.

the only way I know to bypass that anti-abuse agent is to get coating off, crush up pill, boil water, then put the powder in water, mix, filter/suck up, then bang. don't heat the actual pill/powder though that's bad. the reason i say heat the water at all is because it allows you to get the med outs of the solution before it gels, but this is IME with other pills that gel, morph, op, etc like I said, I never did the NEW oxy 80's which I've heard gel up

in the interest of HR, you should swallow your pills with grapefruit juice ;)

In the original post he said he gets high for a couple of hours, just no rush.

Didn't mention micron filters though.
 
i dont use micron filters

i just use the filters that are used for rolling cigarettes
 
To my understanding the "coating" on Oxy pills have nothing to do with the time-release action, the time release mechanism is built inside of the tablet, sophisticated. the only time release drug iknow of where the coating has the active drug on another note is Concerta
 
the ROA is 100%, but there is always a string attached-severely decreased duration (your pretty much putting the hours of the high orally/sniffing bunched up to feel it intensly for a very short time. when i first did oxy, i snorted an 80, i blakced out, had my shirt off in the winter, tried 40mg the next day, felt SOOO GOOD lasted 4 hours, but after constant opiate abuse, oxy is a waste of time and money

I LOOOOVE injecting oxy. It gives me a great rush and it still lasts a long time.

I hear many people say otherwise but I guess i'm just different than most people. There are always exceptions to the rule. And im sure there are plently of people out there just like me who can get a great rush from IV oxy and a good long high....but it just so happens that there are alot more people who have a different experience with IV oxy.
I guess you just gotta accept that everyones different. That seems to be a common phrase here on BL....but it is so very true. It explains so many questions that we get here.
 
Overall, I think this is a thread that's going to end in speculation regarding the OP's dosage of oxycodone. I don't think this belongs in OD. If the OP wants to PM me, so I can open this and send it over to BDD, that's OK, but for now I'm going to close this thread.
