Opioids how to iv 64mg hyromorphone N 8mg Dilaudid ?????

My Dad has throat cancer & they have replaced the 80mg oxy contin & 100 mgs of ms contin that he has been on for 7 years for a shattered foot with: 64mgs & 16mgs of hydromorphone modified release taplets, trade name JURNISTA and 8 & 4 mgs of Hydromorphine Tablets called DILAUDIDs.

Do you know the best way to prep for IV use? Water amount, why are hyrdomorpone is white & gey when you take the coating off? Is it plastic?

Would it be the same as preping the oxy & ms contins?

Any help would be great I counldnt find it on the forums as only 2nd time Ive used this great site!

Jurnista is not IVable so far as I am aware - it contains the OROS Push-Pull system that is rather hard to circumvent.

I am most experienced with shooting regular, IR hydromorphone, aka Dilaudid. It is soluble at ~333mg/ml, meaning you can fit quite a bit in a single syringe. I would simply crush up 8mg at a time, using 100 units of water. Use the recovered water and add that to another 8mg, crushed pill. Replace any water lost due to binders, fillers. From there, continue on until you have the desired approximate amount of chemical in your syringe.

I am sure you know what to do next...

i also think its important to remind him that using a micron filter to make sure you are being as safe as possible is the best idea here in this situation.

I can get one of them at the needle exchange, we use a thick cotton bud to do the oxy and ms

My apologies for neglecting to mention the use of a micron filter. I suppose I assume most people know the basics of IV hygiene. This is obviously not the best mindset to subscribe to in terms of HR.

Anyone know howto IV Jurnista hydromorphone tablets? I think the use the oros system.

This is not other drugs material at all. It is very basic and can easily be answered by using the search engine. For future reference basic questions like this belong in Basic Drug Discussion.

If you plan on injecting pills, please do the research before hand. You need to learn the proper ways and consider the risks involved by using IV drugs. It is a long dark road straight to desperation many times, as a bad IV opiate habit is not what you want. I wish I could have turned back when I was in the exact same position as you, when I made the decision to start shooting heroin. A lucky few can use iv opiates recreationally, but most cannot.

If you do decide to go ahead and inject pills, it is IMPERATIVE that you invest in micron filters.. There is many topics on here dealing with this, as well as safe injection of pills.
