never heard of him, but this sounds like it might be entertaining:

Anthony Bourdain in Beirut

"pass the salt please... no, not a fucking grenade, the SALT!!!" ;)

just watched episode 1 of Fringe, which i'd never heard of till i saw your post. it's like a hardcore x-files, excellent stuff!

Glad you liked it m8.
You should really check out Breaking Bad- can't believe something so good has got rave reviews from critics.
I think Stephen King may b a closet meth head as he said BB was the best series on tv at the moment.
I also think the writer must have either a drug history or collected funny experiences from druggies%)
Just occured to me you may already watch it-doh

Some of those situations they get into seem to happen to a lot of peeps in the scene to a lesser or greater degree.
I think most druggies have stories that appear outlandish but are true.
The best thing is the black humour- a classic

I'm addicted to House at the moment. I've spent pretty much all my TV time for the last two months watching it from the very beginning. Almost up to date now.

House is brilliant, Hugh Laurie completely owns the role. I've watched the first four seasons and even though it can be a bit formulaic at times its that well executed that it doesn't get boring.

Did anyone see the recent modern times remake of Sherlock Holmes on the BBC ?

I thought it was really well done, and it could have gone so wrong

Loved the scene where Sherlock Holmes is found lieing on his back by Watson with nicotine patches on his arms. He explains he's considering a particularly tricky conundrum that he describes as a '3 patch problem'.

Although i must add that the Walking Dead is superb.

Yeah it was a bit anti climatic. I never noticed a wig but I am not the most observant person lol.

Theres not a lot on now that Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead are over. Most of the the series on telly have been out in the states for a while so you've probably seen them. I've still season 5 of The Wire and all the Mad Men if I need a fix.

I've started watching stuff from years back the last few weeks. Anyone remember This Life from the mid 90's?

oh yes, oh yes, oh yes hink it might make me cringe now, but it was brilliant at the time. actually, don't think it would make me cringe.

do you remember the reunion? hilarious stuff

did you see that one off bbc thing with eg in it called "her likeness in stone" that was very good too. i never watched the lakes properly, maybe i will some day. very dark stuff that :!

Remember the reunion well (said that as if I was at it:))

Never got into The Lakes but my old boss swore by it

in Portugal now so can't use 4OD to catch up on Peep Show :p

unless anyone knows an easy way to hide/move your IP address?

try this:

How to Access the BBC iPlayer (and TV Like Doctor Who) from Outside the U.K.

please lemme know if it works, i've never tried it. :)

oo cheers will check that out later :)

Pay for access to a vpn server with a UK ip, about 4£ for the whole month.
Then set up a vpn connection.
They've got proper bandwidth and you can surf the web normally.[/url]

could do, i'll look into it if the first solution doesn't work, good idea! think my dad has tried to hide his IP address completely using some software but it didn't work and he gave up in the end

yes could always download it but not sure how easy they will be to find, shall get on it and report back later, ta! :)
