Experiences using LSD with SSRIs

dxm is just kinda a hard drug, as well as ketamine and pcp. mix those with ecstasy and/or ssris you can have a bad next month or couple. acid im not sure about, not to my knowledge would it do such a thing.

However

ssris really bring the visuals down. really the whole trip in general. id go a two weeks without your ssri if you could.

^ Shouldn't really advise people to stop medication to use recreational drugs. Harm minimisation and all that ;)

^ yeh please do not under any circumstances stop taking a prescribed medication in order to get high. It's not worth it and you're better off passing on the drugs. Stopping for two weeks and then starting again won't be pleasant by any means if you're taking a substantial dose of any anti-depressant.

I should also mention that you should NOT take DXM while on any SSRI, SNRI or MAOI as it could be fatal! (not aimed at you psytaco, just a general warning)

I know a good solution and place for any drugs to go to due to not being able to be ingested as a result from taking SSRI's :) Dont waste them

Anecdotally I can attest to this too. Zoloft bluntened the effects of both LSD and MDMA for me far more than Lexapro, Effexor or Avanza (mirtazapine). I can't remember the exact doses of each I was on though sorry. (Disclaimer yes I know exactly how irresponsible it was to take those drugs while on said antidepressants - self preservation wasn't a high priority at the time).

Only tried with avanza and needed a much larger dose but could still trip. Side effects were a LOT more pronounced from such a low dose as well, might have been the 'cid but be careful about that when tripping. RLS is a bitch when it takes over your whole body and your brain fried.

I did cold turkey Mirtazapine and experienced no WD side effects which was great.

I actually stopped taking Mirtaz for good due to the fact that the only highs I could get were benzos and opiates and I didn't want to get addicted to anything any worse than I already am.

I basically stopped taking anti-depressants because knowing that I can use psychedelics when I feel the need actually made me happier.
