High dose valium (please anyone answer ASAP)

So i take vyvanse every day at 11am for bout 5 days and iv abused valium for like 3 weeks *usually* 30-40mg in one dose daily highest iv done is 50mg then one hour later 20mg more so 70mg.

I am going to detox tommorow morning so i want one last good buzz.

so today i took 10mg at 2pm and 15 at 4. tonight (between 6 and 8) i plan to take 70mg more in one dose.
is this too much, opinyons please?

and this may be the dumbest thing ever but would 1 glass of wine an hour before the 70mg be okay.

im not worried about getting too fucked up, but is it going to kill me or end up in a coma?

wo, dont drink when you take any benzo,s...very dangerous...and why so high dose,s surely you dont need that much in one go..most people who end up in trouble wiv benzo,s either took to high a dose or mixed wiv drink...

yes i know but i have been through other addictions and used a variety of drugs so if i only take like anything under 30mg of valium i dont feel shit except *slight* relaxation . i wont drink tonight iv decided against it.

But still, any other opinyons on 70mg at once for a user that usues 30-40mg a day? and has already taken 25mg earlier (5 hours)

and tmmrw morning im going to take 40mg right b4 detox with 2 glasses of 18% wine. iv done 20mg with under 5 drinks before but do you think 40mg plus that is ok?

So if I'm understanding you right, your goal is to make detox as uncomfortable and dangerous as possible, by raising the concentration of diazepam in your bloodstream to dangerous levels before abrupt cessation of use.

.. And you want to know whether overdose will be an issue?

Do - not - go - cold - turkey.

I only use 20mg a day (sometimes a bit more) and have been for 3 or so weeks, and when I had a few days without.... urg... It was fucking horrible.

Watch out how much you drink. Take yer Diazepam, WAIT till you fully feel it and, if you feel ok, have a single beer or something.
Seriously mate, recklessly overdoing it can lead to death

am sure you would be best makein that 70mg last a few days like a mini taper....because if you got a tolerance you will feel like a piece of crap if you just stop..

Taking 70mg won't be too harmful especially if you've been on em so long, but you go cold turkey on benzo's especially when you like em so much to abuse em in the first place, you will turn into a proper cunt....

Just wean off it's hard, but compared to your plan it's a walk in the park fella!

You will be fine, 70mg and some wine won't kill you (especially after you have been taking it for a few weeks).

Quitting cold turkey shouldn't be too much of an issue considering you have not been taking them that long

You could've chosen a shorter acting benzodiazepine like alprazolam or even temazepam instead of the infinite life-span benzo diazepam if you wanted the most euphoric effects benzos have to offer. Detox, depending on how long you've been using the diazepam like this, might be long and tough.

Benzos are almost impossible to OD from if you're taking them without the synergistic effects of combining them with other CNS depressants (alcohol). Let's say you take your 70mg diazepam or so, drink two strong glasses of cheap-sounding wine, then go to detox. It's not a good idea. And have you given thought to what you're going to tell them in detox?

IMO, you need to be as honest as possible when you get to detox/speak to a doctor. You could very well have built yourself up a powerful tolerance for benzodiazepines, cross-tolerant with alcohol. These are the kinds of detoxes, that, if not handled correctly, result in tonic/clonic grand mal seizures, hallucinosis, full-blown delirium.

If you're very resistant to benzodiazepines now, the course of meds they're likely to prescribe (usually always long-acting benzos like diazepam or clonazepam) for your detoxification won't even come close to managing all your WD symptoms. So be as honest as you can, since they might have to use a different kind of med to manage your WDs now.

You'll be all good, benzo w/d is tough, and 3 weeks at doses like that will make you w/d like a mother fucker, but seriously DON'T DO THE LAST 70mg DOSE!! You'll live, but it'll make things a LOT harder for you!

Three weeks at 30-40 mgs per day is not really that much, the WD's won't be all that bad, but I would recommend doing 10 mgs a day for the next week rather than taking them all at once. But if you want to do them all it isn't dangerous.

i cant do this because im going to DETOX. and the reason i abuse the benzos is becuase it was supposed to substitue my cocaine addiction. (dont critisize me, i understand my mistake here) i thought if i didnt go out and do coke and just chilled at home on benzos itd be better.

but now im back to detox tmmrw... im kinda scared, whats going to happen when i go to detox tmmrw(any experiences to share?) are they gonna script me something else or just cold turkey me or what? i know you gyys arent doctors but any insight or ANYTHING would help.

Why are you so concerned with DETOXing That choice is yours?

Just self medicate yourself off the drugs... As I mentioned before your withdrawls are not going to be overly severe..if you came off coke this will be a breeze...you could simply not take any tommorow, get sick for a few days, be cranky, and a depressed, and you'll be right...
....It's the addiction you need to fight not the drug, it's 3 weeks of benzo's dude...

You had a problem with coke....had benzo's to come off it?

Yeah, they'll probably cold turkey you unless you have seizures or something. But you won't, not from the three weeks of valium at the dose you've been taking. Don't worry to much, the WD's won't be to bad and treatment isn't really that bad.

If you tell them the truth, they will most likely cold turkey you.

If (just as an example) you were taking 1mg of Xanax every day for the past year from an IOP, it would be criminally negligent of them not to taper you. Either way, I don't think that stuffing your face with valium is a good way to start detox.

No sane medical professional will allow you to go cold turkey off benzos or alcohol.. Its a liability and and easy way to cause a seizure. They might taper you themselves or give you something like phenobarbital. Seriously though, im not judging you, but goddamm!! What your doing is the fastest ticket to oblivion. Try to cool it after detox. I used to pop vals and xanax like that and wake up in the hospital. I would take 5 pills, black out and keep taking more in the black out. I would take like 18 bars and have to get my heart restarted. Good luck and be safe!
